-- Tales Of Legendia -- -- FAQ/Walkthrough -- -- By Ken "Kouli/Ice" Zhao (kenzhao99@yahoo.com) -- -- Version 0.8 -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~What Is It This FAQ/Walkthrough is based on the Japanese version of "Tales Of Legendia" that is released on August 25th, 2005. The game itself is made by MelFes(Namco) and published by Namco. If there is an US version and you are playing it, read this FAQ/Walkthrough at your own risk. However, do not whine to me about this and that being different, as comparing to the US version. This is still based on the Japanese version solely, localized version will always/mostly share different names, and you should have an understanding on such simple concept. Ultimately, it is your choice that you pick the US version over the Japanese version, so it is not my concern, thus don't whine to me about difference you see. ~What Will Be Covered This FAQ/Walkthrough in general, will only cover the main game, thus just from the beginning to the end. Optional and secret are often not included. However, sometimes I will talk about it vaguely or in point form. If you are playing a Japanese version game, I would take it that you at least know some Japanese "kouryaku" sites or just use 2ch. Some sites are often as COMPLETE as it gets and 2ch usually have real nice info. Thus, you should know where to look for sites that have coverage on the particular game. This is essentially a speedy main walkthrough guide, so the format/layout will be simple, nothing fancy. Also, this is likely depend on my first playthrough, it might lacks detail for parts, or those usual things that you won't see/ easily missed on your first time. A first time is never perfect, right? Unless you have some sort of COMPLETE guide to hold your hands. ~Why Not Complete The reason that I do not make this a COMPLETE FAQ/Walkthrough(that covers everything, including lists, data, optional and secret things...etc) is because I lack time. The market for Japanese RPG genre is very active and I have a great taste/interest with the genre, hence, I will try to buy and play all these RPGs ASAP. Since making a COMPLETE FAQ/Walkthrough will take a while, and if I do that for each RPG I buy and play, that will slow me down a lot. So, it would make sense that I only make a FAQ/Walkthrough that covers the main game only. I write my FAQ/Walkthrough in real time, as in playing the game and write at the same time. Unless there is an RPG rush, otherwise, this main game FAQ/ Walkthrough should be done shortly after the Japanese release. I tend to get things done FAST and move on to another RPG, of course, write another one. The cycle goes on and on. I am busy and can get very busy, so please try to have an understanding on the fact that I don't usually write COMPLETE FAQ/ Walkthrough. I am more than willing to put in effort, but just not to one or two FAQ/Walkthrough. Instead, I aim for as many PS2 RPGs as possible. As said above, COMPLETE FAQ/Walkthrough takes quite some time, even for some sites. Because we have to figure things out on our own, and you guessed it, there is no Official COMPLETE Strategy Guide or the sort by the Japanese release. Those often come out months later. This is how it works in Japan. We don't have the time because we are the ones created the games. Often, the strategy guide writers are against the time. However, for US version, due to the fact that Americans have to go through the localization period, that means US strategy guide writters have plenty of time to write a COMPLETE guide. Thus, lots of dedicated FAQ writers that play US version games can easily pull off a COMPLETE FAQ/Walkthrough with the help of the COMPLETE guide that's released around the US release of the particular game. As compared to JP gamers, we often figure things out or check sites, instead of having a COMPLETE guide by our hand. This is the difference. So in the future, don't be surprised that US Contributors can pull off a COMPLETE FAQ/Walkthrough fast, because chances are, they are getting lots of help from the Official COMPLETE Guide, where as for JP Contributors, pulling out a main walkthrough FAQ/Walkthrough fast is more than enough. ~Hosting This FAQ/Walkthrough & E-Mails In general, just IGN.com and GameFAQs/Gamespot. If you are from Cheatcc, then don't bother. And I warn you Cheatcc people, mainly Dave, DO NOT host ANY of my stuff on your site. I have been saying this for nth time, and if you still don't listen, face the consequences! Anyway, if you are another general site, probably not but do ask, I might, depending on the site. If you are a fan site of this specific game/series, do ask and I will mostly give you the permission. As to E-Mail me, do have a clear title. If it's about the game's story or game play stuff, make your question clear as well. Do remember, if you are the type that can't even read kana, please refrain from asking, with questions due to the fact that you can't read kana. I WILL ignore you. Another thing I want is that you play the Japanese version and ask questions around the JP release date. If you ask me stuff on a game, like 3 months after the release, chances are, I won't remember and probably not going to bother. I move on from games to games fast, so keep yourself updated. Finally, NEVER EVER rush me. I am writting this as I play the game(literally the same time), there is no FASTER than that. If you are seeing no update or big gap between updates, chances are, this game was among a RPG rush, and I am probably playing something else. And just one more thing, if you see this at Cheatcc.com, please do inform me. ~Your Prerequisite Playing a Japanese version game, especially RPG genre, means you at least know all kana. Knowing how to read katakana and hiragana help a lot with gameplay related things, especially with katakana which is foreign to begin with. Hiragana, you can take your time to understand, same with grammar, particle and of course, our beloved kanji. If you playing a Japanese version, I will assume you at least know the basic of the basic, such as reading kana. I don't mind if you use a game to learn more of the language even though that's not a good way. My point is, you should be between getting the hang of the language to around half fluent. If you are fluent, this paragraph is not for you. If you are just a beginner, I don't mind to help you if you got questions. However, you MUST know how to read kana. If you are the type that can't even read kana, then why bother? No matter how eager you are, I seriously don't know why you bother with a game, esepcially the RPG genre, without being able to read kana. That is just absurd, period. Learn some kana, please! For the Chinese, please don't act like you know all or OWN kanji just because you know Chinese. They can be very similar but they are still different. Lots of readings and meanings are quite different. I can easily pull off dozen examples, and if you apply your Chinese there, I can tell you, you will be wrong. So, please, for some of you, don't act so arrogant and think you OWN kanji. You merely have a slight edge on kanji than others, you are FAR FAR FAR from owning kanji. "I know Chinese so I know kanji" is the typical annoying & ignorant thing to say. Also, this is quite the common sense. Don't even hope that a Japanese version game, especially the RPG genre, would have English related things. Yes, there are some Japanese version games that have that, such as the Devil May Cry series will always feature English voices in both JP and US version. However, rest assured that this is never going to happen with the RPG genre, aka the text heavy genre, 99% of the time. The 1% is for those one million to one examples, such as Koudelka. But, whether that 1% has English related or not are often known before the game comes out in Japan, so there is your homework. Thus, in the future, refrain from asking such question, because chances are, a 'NO' for 99% of the time. It's VERY UNLIKELY to happen with the RPG genre. For other genre games, unless the previous games in the series often have English related, otherwise, probably not. All of these things, they are nothing but common sense. You can re-think a bit and ask yourself: Why would a Japanese version game that is meant for the Japanese have English related things? ~My General Goal GameFAQs has something called "Most Wanted FAQs" and "FAQ Bounty Contest", my goal is to take off as many PS2(this generation at this point) RPGs off those lists as possible. I am not looking for the money in "FAQ Bounty Contest" however. Some people are probably going to say I am "Quantity Over Quality", but, I rather cover on as many PS2 RPGs as possible than just spending lots of time on just few FAQ/Walkthrough. Given, I am not the only Contributor, there are others and their works. If you don't like my style that much, refrain from reading my stuff. My stuff are usually for the JP versions anyway, and there are next to no Contributor that write things for Japanese versions frequently, so in the end, most of you will get the US version, play it and write your own FAQ/Walkthrough based on the US version. That's good and remember, you guys are the majority, ones for JP versions are really the minority, so I want to do my part for them, as an Importer/Japanese gamer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- \August 25, 2005/ - Version 0.1, beginning to write the walkthrough for Main Scenario \August 26~27, 2005/ - Version 0.2, continue on the walkthrough \August 28, 2005/ - Version 0.3, further on the walkthrough \August 29, 2005/ - Version 0.4, done the Main Scenario and starting up Character Quest \August 31~September 01, 2005/ - Version 0.5, took a break and wrote a Soujutsu List, now continue back on this FAQ/Walkthrough with Character Quest(but moving slowly) \September 02, 2005/ - Version 0.6, continue on with Character Quest \September 03, 2005/ - Version 0.7, further on the Character Quest \September 03~04, 2005/ - Version 0.8, done on the Character Quest ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Main Scenario------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~On A Ship After scenes, you will enter the first battle of the game. Just continue on the main path and you will get to the Bandits' Lair. However, before that, there is a duct. You can use it to get back outside Werites Beacon, just in case you need to refresh or buy things. ~Bandits' Lair Head inside the lair. After some scene, Senel will ends up alone. If you can get them at the corner, gang up on both sides and use Climax Mode if you need to. You should be able to finish them off, even with high combo hits. After, you get the Moses Key. There are two items to the left and continue to NE. There is a save point so besure to save your game. After, continue on to the next area. After scenes, you will end up fighting Crystarachura. Stay away from it as much as possible, and use Majinken with Chloe or Senel. Will can attack with his magic at one side. When your Climax Gauge is full, so up and initiate Climax Mode. You should be able to get some high combo hits here as well. Afterward, back track a bit and head to the left for another Chaotic Zone with another item box after it. Then continue on to NW. Next, continue on and move to the left for another item then move on to north. Another Chaotic Zone with another item. Next, continue to north. Use it. This takes your to another Puzzle Booth. You will get the Sorcerer Ring. Now, head to NE. Use the Sorcerer Ring to shoot a light to the mirror that will then reflect to the crystal. Then use the cubes to make your way to the duct. This is another easy task. After scenes, go right for another item. Save your game and go north. ~Old Mofumofu Village After scenes, go right to check on two item boxes. Then go to north to check the object to spot Mimmy again. You will get the hamburger recipe. Continue to the left. There are two items, as well as a healing point and save point. Once you are ready, go north. ~Secret Passage Continue on and another Chaotic Zone to the right with two items. After scenes, exit out to the World Map. - From Werites Beacon, go about 4 O'Clock to get to Port On Lake ~Port On Lake After scenes, go up to speak with Nosh when you are ready. More scenes. ~The Grags Save your game. Continue to the left, 2 more Chaotic Zones with an item between and there is another item at near south. Move on to the left to the next area. More Chaotic Zones with few more items. Then continue to the left. After some scene, there are more Chaotic Zones with more items. Then continue to SW for another item. Take the left bridge for an item and the right bridge to move on. After some long way, you will get to a duct and Waterways. ~Waterways After some scenes, Chloe gets another title. Continue on to SW. There is an item on the way. Next area, more scenes. Will and Norma will be away from the party. Chloe gets another title. Check the near item box and continue to north. Norma and Will join back to the party. There are a healing point and save point here. Next, continue to the right. There is another item box around. Further down, there is another Chaotic Zone with another item behind it. Afterward, go to NE to move on. Another item and Chaotic Zone again, with another item behind it. After, move on to NW. A bit to the right, there is another Chaotic Zone, with another item after it. Continue to the left. Go south and you got it, another Chaotic Zone with another item after it. Then move to the left again. Next, go south for another Chaotic Zone with another item box after it. Then move on at north. After scenes, continue on and take the duct. Yup, another Puzzle Booth. Shoot at the 3 crystals and that's it. Another easy task. Take the duct and more scenes. Then continue to south. Go left a bit for another item and the right leads to another item. Continue at south. Another Chaotic Zone at right with another item after it. Continue to SW then go north. There is an item box on the way. After, go NW then continue your way down to south. After more scenes, ignore the right way and go south to move on. On the way, there is another item box. Continue on to the north for more scene. Exit out the secret room, use the healing point and save point here. Continue your way to the west. Take the lower west path. Continue on, two more items on the way. Continue on to north for two more items. Eventually, there is another Chaotic Zone with another item. Continue to the right to get to another savep point. Beyond that, more scene and you will end up fighting Jousaigame. This is such an easy boss. Just go up and keep beating it. Heal if you need to, and throw in one or two Climax Mode. After, continue to the right to exit out. Moses will end up joining the party. Exit out at north. Back on the World Map, continue on. After some long way, you will get to a duct and Ruins Of Frozen Light. ~Ruins Of Frozen Light After more scenes, exit out at west. Back on the World Map. There is some long way before you can make it to the Great Hollow, which is all the way west of Ruins Of Frozen Light. Just use the map(R3 one as well) and you will get to another duct and Great Hollow. ~Great Hollow After some scene, Norma gets another title. Check the slate to go down. At the first, area, go left for an item and another Chaotic Zone with an item after it. Now take the north path that leads to another item. To move on, go right. At the intersection, go left for an item then go right to move on. A bit to the north, another Chaotic Zone with an item after it. Continue to the left for an item and just a bit further, there is the save point. Go south from here to get another item then move down at west. Next area, go west, south and east for items. Continue to lower left for more item then move on at NW. Another item on the way. Continuing on, another item on the way, then move NW from there for another. After, move down at lower left platform. After more scenes, continue on at west. ~Near The Underground Lake After the scene, get the items and head into the factory. After, check the red pointy hat to spot Mimmy. You will get another recipe. Don't forget to save your game at the save point. Exit out and go west. You will end up fighting GranGate. This is rather another easy fight. Just get close and keep smashing it. Besure to equip Senel with his Poison Wrist and Poison Sword for Chloe. After, Moses gets another title. Now return to the factory. After, speak with Jay. ~Ruins Of Frozen Light After some scenes, enter the gate. More scenes. Check the rock and enter back in. Take the north path. At the first intersection, go right for an item. Beyond here are few more Chaotic Zones with couple items. After, head to the left for another intersection. Ignore north and south, continue to the left. Another item on the way. Next area, at the intersection, go left and up for two items. Now, go north to pass a Chaotic Zone to another item. To move on, go right. Go up a bit for two items then continue to the right then up. Next, pass the Chaotic Zones are couple items. Then continue at west. Before you go all the way to west, go south and hit the switch. Now, back track and to the west. You will get to another save point. Then continue up and take the duct. You will be at another Puzzle Booth. Still easy but just with a bit trick. The crystal at east is the tricky one. But, just use the cubes to make your way to NE(which is near another crystal) and shoot from there. After, take the duct to go on. Move up a bit for more scene. You wil fight Gigant. Your front line should try to defend as much and let the back line magic users to do the attacking. If you insist on attacking, try to gang up on both sides. The one you are controlling shoud be attacking from Gigant's back. When you can use Climax Mode, don't hesitate. Since it has quit a lot of HPs, this might take a while. After, continue on for more scenes. You will end up fighting Vaclav. As usual, just defend and it will soon be over. ~Forest Of No Return Head to the right then up. Go left a bit for an item box then continue to go up. There are a healing point and save point here. After, take the right path (that's got blue butterflies around). Continue on and more scene. After, go north for an item. Then go right for another item box and there are more blue butterflies around which means this path is the correct path. Next, another item and go right a bit further for another. Then back track and go up to meet a mechant. Continue to the right from there. Next, there is a healing point. Continue to the right for more scene. After, go right then up, right again and then go down. Badically, just the path with the blue butterflies. Next area, to the right, there is a Chaotic Zone with item after it. Continue to south and right, then down and finally, right again. Continue to the right and up. At the intersection, go right for an item then continue to north. You should spot some blue butterflies but don't take that path yet. Go right for another item. Then take the path with the blue butterflies. Moving on, the next blue butterflies at just directly to the east. But, don't go there yet. Check NE for an item. Then move on. Next area, go down and then to the right. Finally, a save point. Save your game and continue on to the right. After more scenes, you will fight Armed Angler. As usual, you should be ganging up on it from both sides. However, try to defend and heal a lot. Attack with your best combo when it's not facing you or attacking the character on the other side. It shouldn't be that hard, considering it doesn't really have that much HPs. Few Climx Mode should finish it. When it's low on HPs, use a Climax Combo as a finisher if you wish. Afterward, continue to north. More scenes. Continue down. As you exit out, Senel gets another title. Back on the World Map, there is just a duct near. Continue along the path and use the R3 map if you need to. After some long way, you will finally get to a duct and Maurits' Hermitage. ~Maurits' Hermitage Enter at north. Before you enter the house, go right to check the tree to spot that Mimmy for another recipe. Then enter the house. Your allies leave the party and Will gets another title. Exit out the house for more scenes. Everyone joins back except for Will. Exit out the room for more scenes. Will joins back as well. Back on the World Map. Check the map for the Man Eating Ruins' location and go toward it. There is another duct near it. ~Man Eating Ruins Go north to enter the ruins. Continue all the way, and you will get to an intersection. Before that, there is an odd object here and of course that is Mimmy. Yet another recipe. Go left for an item. After, go right. An Chaotic Zone with an item after it. Continue on. Another Chaotic Zone with another item after it. Next area, continue along the path to another area. Few items around with more Chaotic Zones. When you are done, go NE to a save point. Continue on and take the duct. You will be in a Puzzle Booth. The west and east crystals are easy. Just shoot to the middle mirror at SE and SW. For the upper two crystals, you will need to move the cubes. You won't need to rely on the mirrors. Anyway, see the two fixed cubes before the duct? Well, use one cube to reach there and for the 2nd cube, place it to the right or left of those two fixed cubes, so you can reach to shoot to the crystals at 45 degree angle. Afterward, take the duct to move on. Go up for more scenes. You will end up fighting Diva and Mimic Bed. Go for that Diva then Mimic Bed. This shouldn't be too bad if you defend and heal often. Mimic Bed alone isn't much of a threat. After, go north. More scenes and you will obtain the Crystal Of Whisper. Now, back track all the way out. After, head back to Maurits' Hermitage. ~Maurits' Hermitage More scenes. After, go to meet with Maurits. Will leaves the party. Head in the room and rest. More scenes. With just Chloe in the party, head to the right. Just go around here and keep fighting. Eventually, more scene. Repeat with more fightings then more scenes. Afterward, exit out. Back on the World Map, use the map to check the location of Front Line. It's really just NE from here. There is also a duct near the Front Line. ~Front Line More scenes. After, go north. Your goal here is to avoid, otherwise, you will be taken in a battle and moving back to where you start. There is one item to the left path and two items for the right path. After the first guard, there is another item then continue at north. There is just a guard ahead. Beware. Stay and watch his route. Make sure you go to the left first, because there is another odd object and yes, that's Mimmy with another recipe. Then pass the first guard from the right. A second guard to the right, guarding two items. This is not that hard. Just stay and watch his movement closely, especially where he goes and the directions he looks at. You can easily pass him when he's looking at the other direction. Third area, check the item box on the way. As you can see, there are two more items to the right. Just wait til he goes up and go get it. Avoiding him when he comes back is a bit tricky. Take your time and wait til he looks at the other direction. If you can't do it, just let him spot you and fight. You will just be taken back to the beginning of this area afterward. Pass the guard, to north, there is another guard. There are also two items to the right. Passing this guard is a bit hard. It's better you grab the items, then back to the beginning of this area and just rush to north. Staying between the two guards aren't that safe. Next area, more scenes. After, to the left for an item. Pass the two guards and get to north. Another item on the way. Then head right for two more items. Then go to the left and to the north. Next, one item to the left and right. Up a bit, another item to the left then move on at right. Lastly, pass the guard and save your game. For the second guard, just pass him when he's looking at the other direction. As for the third one, easy as well. Advance at north. More scene and you will fight Pharaoh Gigant. Just lots of HPs and can hit you pretty hard, that's about it. Beware of your healings and defense. He moves aroun a lot, so, using Majinken or even Majinken Souga won't hurt. Throw in few Climax Mode if you need to. Afterward, you will be back on the World Map. Just go up a bit. ~Bridge Plain Go north. Continue up and fight the guard. After, just continue to north. You either encounter enemy or ally. Afterward, more scenes. Then continue to north again. Eventually, more scene and you will fight Dragon. Not as much HPs, comparing to the last fight. But for your front line, try not to go all crazy and defend from time to time. If you are confident enough, attack it from behind and use Passing Through repeatedly if you need to. Afterward, Jay joins the party. Back on the World Map, head up into the Bridge. ~Bridge After scenes, enter. Continuing on and eventually, an intersection. Go left to check the PC and an item. Next, another intersection. Go left for yet another PC and an item. Then continue on. By the intersection, go right for an item and another PC. After, continue at north door. Continue on, go left and right for items. Continue on. By the intersection, go right for another item and PC. Then go left. Continue on and save your game. By the next intersection, go right. There is an item on the way and 3 more at the end. Take the duct after. This one looks complex but there isn't much. Push the first near cube down then for the further left cube, push it down as well. And to get to the duct, you will make a straight line, starting to work your way from the right to left. After, go up to fight Melanie and Fearful Bear X. Take care of that Bear first and combo Melanie from back&front. For something fun, you can knock Melanie down and throw her. Repeat til she dies. Afterward, save your game and move on. Continue along the way. Jay will get another title. Eventually, another save point. Continue on and you will end up fighting Cashel. Rather easy fight. Just combo him til he dies. He won't really get much of a chance to attack if you keep on attacking. Throw in Climax Mode if you wish. This battle should end fairy quickily. More scene, you will get the Card Key at the end. After, enter the door. After, go left for an item then move on at right. Another item, as well as a healing point and save point. After, take the stairs up. Continue all the way up and there are two items on the way. At the end, you will fight Stingle. He is stronger than previous Cashel and Melanie, so beware of that. Take your time with this fight and heal more often. You don't need to go crazy here, let alone he likes to guard often. Defend and let your magic users and other front line attacker to do the job. Sneak behind Stingle from time to time, and wait for opening for combo. You can probbly building up the Climax Gauge through out then unleash it. If you don't want to get too close, use Majinken Souga. After, two more items then move on. Continue on for a save point. Moving on. Go left for an item, go right for another and hit the switch to red. Next, go right for an item and another switch to be turned to red. Then to north for another item and a switch to be turned to red. Now you can go left. Continue on to the next area. This time, similar to above but the switches are to be turned to blue. Don't forget the items. After, head to the upper right. Next, similar to above, but it's green this time. Afterward, continue from lower left. You will get to a save point. Enter through the gate. After more scenes, time to fight Vaclav. Just a bit stronger than Stingle. Just defend more often and combo him from behind or when he's off guard. You can heal or leave it to your allies to do so. If you have Piyohan, equip it to shorten your Stun Time incase you got hit hard and stunned. When he's low on HPs, throw in Climax Mode to finish it off. If there is purple aura around him, besure to defend. After, more scenes. The game will promt you to make a save at the end. ~Graveyard Afterward, exit out this place. ~Werites Beacon Continue down and head south. Before you go to Will's House, head to the Item Shop and you can check that odd object for another recipe. Inside Will's House, more scene. Now to find your allies. Norma is in the Inn. Chloe is by the Hospital and you will get another title for her. As for that Moses, from the area before the graveyard, go right. After, head to the Water Fountain to find Grune. Now, go back to Will's House. Jay gets another title then everyone joins back at the end. Exit out to the World Map. Open up the R3 Map to check your destination. Now, start to go south to the shore, then follow that map and work your way to that Village Of The Perines. There is also a duct neat. ~Village Of The Perines After the scene, go north. After scenes, check that odd chess like object to the left to spot Mimmy for another recipe. Anyway, check the bed to rest. Afterward, go north. More scenes and at the end, Norma gets another title. Exit out and go south a bit for more scene. Exit out the village for even more. Back on the World Map. Open up the R3 Map and check the next destination. Just about north(12 O'Clock), a bit toward east. There is also a duct near. ~Hidden Fortress Continue on to north. Eventually, you get to few Chaotic Zones with an item at the end. Continue on, two more items on the way and a duct at the end. Yet another Puzzle Booth. You got it: still easy. The big part is move that chunk of cubes away to make way to the crystal and the duct. After, save your game. Check both cells then go north. Beware of the cells to the left. First one is a trap and the last one leads to another item. Pass that Chaotic Zone is another item. Continue to the right. Use the cell to avoid that ring. Next, head to the left and check out one cell for an item, and the last one should be the key. Beware of some cell here, since it's another trap. Pass the Chaotic Zone here is yet another item. Now you can head through the north door. Head to the left and check the last one for an item. Then head up by the corner and besure to avoid that ring using the near cell even it's probably a trap. Continue on to north. The cell near the Chaotic Zone got the key and pass that Chaotic Zone is another item. Then head to the right. First two cells got items then continue to the right. Go up to go through the door. After more scene, then go up to find Walter. You will end up fighting Gold Gulf and Silver Gulf. They aren't that tough but they can give you some trouble if they attack one after another. Try to separate them then combo one til death. Go for the other one after. Afterward, you will obtain the "Melnes Capturing Tactics Report". Then back track your way out. More scene and back to the World Map. As you can see on the R3 Map, the next destination is the top north. There is also a duct near it. ~Altar Of The Sea Enter the cave. Go left for an item then continue to north. Another item on the way and continue to the left for another Chaotic Zone with another item. Move on from south. Go south a bit for another Chaotic Zone and another item. Continue on from the left. Up a bit is another Chaotic Zones with more item. Continue on to north. More scene. After, go right for another item. Continue along the path. To the left a bit for another item then continue on from SW. Next, go south for another item and move on from north. Besure to save your game. You will end up fighting Gust Mamaon. It's rather easy and you shoulld be able to combo it til it dies with your front lines while the back lines doing the support. After, continue up. You will fight Walter again. Like previous encounters, do not bother. Just defend and it will be over soon. ~Werites Beacon After more scenes, you will be back here. Exit out the Inn for more scene. To get to the Beacon, go to the area before the Graveyard and go right from there. You will be at the Plain like area. Basically, this is where you found that Moses from before when you were handing out the Medal to your allies. More scene and enter the Beacon. After more scenes, Grune joins the party and she also gets a new title. ~The Quite Lands Go down a bit for a save point. Near, there is an item. In fact, there are lots of items around, so take some time to get them all. At the middle, there is the Elevator. At NE, there is the Ice Monument. At east, there is the Geoglyph Area then at SE, there is Thunder Monument. At west or northwest, there is the Earth Monument and lastly, at south, there is Fire Monument. Let's go for the Fire Monument. ~Fire Monument Afterward, enter it. Continue on. There is an item on the way. You will get to a crystal. Continue on to another crystal. Another item on the way and yet another crystal. Next area, save your game. Next, there are six items and six PCs to check out. Then head to north and check that barrier. You will end up fighting that VolcanoGate. Of course, avoid Fire based and use Ice based. Magic users should turn off Fire based spells and turn on only Ice and Recovery ones. After, you get the Slate Fragment 1. Exit out. Remember where you first started in this chapter? It's by the Coast. The Coast is just NW from the save point. ~Coast More scenes. There is a merchant here and also a save point. Now head to the Ice Monument. ~Ice Monument After scenes, enter at north. Very similar to the previous Monument. Basically just crystal to crystal, with items on the way, as well as traps. Next, more scene and Senel gets another title. Save your game and continue on. Again, 6 items and 6 PCs. However, check the left 3 PCs ONLY. Then check the north barrier. More scenes and you will end up fighting GlacierGate. This is an exact opposite of the VolcanoGate. So avoid Ice based and use Fire based. Magic users should turn off Ice based spells and turn on only Fire and Recovery ones. Afterward, you get the Slate Fragment 2. Now go back to the Coast. ~Coast After more scenes, Jay gets another title. Exit out and head to the Thunder Monument this time. ~Thunder Monument After some scene, enter it. Continue on after more scene. Same thing here, crystals, items. However, there are warps you can take here. Still pretty much straight forward. After you got all the crystals, continue through the door at north. More scenes. Chloe also gets another title. Save your game. Next, again, 6 PCs and 6 items. Hit all the PCs except the ones at middle, so that's the middle left and middle right. Continue on and through the north barrier. After some more scenes, you fight TempestGate. Of course, you would expect this one is good with Thunder, so, avoid Thunder based and use Earth based. Magic users should turn off Thunder based spells and turn on only Earth and Recovery ones. After, you get the Slate Fragment 3. Now head back to the Coast. ~Coast After more scenes, exit out and head to Earth Monument. ~Earth Monument More scenes then enter after. Continue on and as you might have guessed it already, pretty much the same thing here. There are crystals and items around. This time, there are these transparent beds and besure to avoid them. The last two before the door might look hard to avoid, but, there is a gap between them so use that to sneak through. After, enter the door. More scenes. Norma and Grune get new titles. Save your game and continue on. Next, another 6 PCs and 6 items. For the PCs, check the top & lower right ones, as well as the middle left one. After, more scenes and you will end up fighting EarthQuakeGate. Of course, this is another exact opposite, of the previous monument. So, avoid Earth based and use Thunder based. Magic users should turn off Earth based spells and turn on only Thunder and Recovery ones. You have been fighting them and you know how these battles go. Always attack and combo these Gates crazy and the magic users can back you up. From time to time, they dive down and then pop up to attack you. But, as long as you are moving, you would be fine. Afterward, you get the Slate Fragment 4. Now, back to the Coast. ~Coast More scenes and Jay gets another title. Exit out and head to Geoglyph Area. ~Geoglyph Area Here you will put the 4 slates you have obtained. From left to the right, the order is 3, 2, 1 then 4. With scenes, each character will gain the power of SeiSoujutsu(Holy Claw Skill), except for Senel. Afterward, back to the Coast. ~Coast After your allies left, check the red mat to rest. More scenes and Senel will then gain the power of SeiSoujutsu. Afterward, back to the Elevator. ~Elevator More scenes and Norma gets another title. ~Mirage Palace Continue at the left. Within, go left to a Chaotic Zone with another item after it. Then continue on from the right. Another Chaotic Zone with an item after it. Second area, go north for a Chaotic Zone and an item. Continue to south for another Chaotic Zone with another item, then to the left. Next, continue at NW. More scene and save your game. There are 3 paths you can take here: North, West and South. Go north to get two items but don't take that teleporter. Instead, back track and go west. Grab the one item and take the teleporter here. Obtain another item and then continue on. Next area, continue to south to pass a Chaotic Zone to get to another item. Now, back track to the area with the save point. This time go south. Another item on the way and one more at the end. After, take that teleporter. Next area, two more items near. Then continue to south all the way. Eventually, another Chaotic Zone with another item after it. Continue to north for another item then another one at the end. Take the teleporter. Next, another item near. Then continue along the path to get inside. This time, you will fight Gust Lucifer. More HPs but still very similar to the previous ones. As usual, gang up on it from both sides and combo it til death. As for your magic users, set them to use more powerful spells and healings only. When you can, throw in few Climax Mode. Afterward, go left for an item. Go upper left for two more items where one is behind another Chaotic Zone. Continue on from the right. Eventually, another item, a healing point and another save point. Continue on. To the left, there is another Chaotic Zone with an item after it. Then continue on at lower left then make your way up. By the intersection, take the left path for two items. Now take the right path. To right again for another Chaotic Zone with another item. After, continue to the north. Eventually, you will get to a duct. Yup, another Puzzle Booth. Get to the near 3 cubes and push all of them down, so you can make way to the right. Once you do so, psuh the 3 cubes(at lower right) down. After, you can move one cube horizontally to a near mirror(that you know it will reflect to the lower right crystal) then shoot at that near mirror to hit the lower right crystal. Next, move the 3 cubes(at right) next to each other vertically. That can make you reach for the upper left crystal by shooting toward a near mirror by that upper left crystal. For the last crystal that's at upper right, you can easily get it by shooting toward to that crystal's left mirror. So, you can just stand on the lower left fixed cubes and aim for that mirror that's left of that crystal. Now, get to the duct. There is no trick about it. You need all the cubes, link them up from lower left to upper left/the duct. After, continue on for another item box. Take the first warp point. There are few combinations you can take for items, but for the route to move on: Take the left one, left again and left one more time. After, another item and head to the left. Senel gets another title at the end. Next area, go left for more Chaotic Zones and items. Continue at the right. Another item through the Chaotic Zone. A bit north, another Chaotic Zone to the right with another item. Next, go NW through Chaotic Zones for another item. Go right, another Chaotic Zone with an item then continue at north. At the end, there is a healing point and save point. Finally, we get to fight Walter, which you must beat him. He's swift, quite powerful with his attacks, as well as having nearly 70,000 HPs. Still the usual two front line and two back line for me. The back line can have one powerful spell and one healing one, the rest should be all off. For your front line, try to combo Walter from both sides. If back line's healing isn't enough, do it yourself with items. Don't go crazy and try to defend. Walter can attack pretty fast and can often overide your attacks. If you got Climax Mode, use it and pull out your best combo or damaging moves. After, continue up then more scenes. Afterward, take that NE path for more scenes. ~Werites Beacon Take the platform to go down and go south to exit out the Beacon. After scenes, go to the Water Fountain area and wait. More scenes. Moses and Chloe each got one new title. Senel will get two new titles. After, speak with a Mofumofu when you are ready, then more scenes. ~Wings Of Light Go up and save your game. Keep it in mind that this is the final dungeon of the Main Scenario. If you need to do other things or shop, take the Train to go back. Anyway, move on to the left elevator to go up. Continue on. Go north to go pass a Chaotic Zone that leads to an item. Now go right to move on. Continue on. Another item on the way and pass that is another intersection. Go right for a Chaotic Zone with another item. Continue to the left to another Chaotic Zone with another item. Then go south. Another item on the way. Next, go right for more Chaotic Zones and 2 more items. Continue on at SW. A bit to the right, more Chaotic Zones and another item. Eventually, you get to a duct. Another Puzzle Booth here. Just a matter of timing here. The outside 3 crystals here are easy to get if you shoot from differet corner. Again, it's a matter of timing. The inner crystal, you will depend on a near mirror. Just calculate the 90 degree angles and time it right to shoot. After you take the duct, Senel gets a new title. Afterward, continue on. Another Chaotic Zone to the left. Pass that, another item then take the warp point at the end of the path. Continue on to another area. You will come to an intersection. North is a dead end but got an item. Continue on at the right. Eventually, go right for more Chaotic Zones and an item in between. Then just continue your way to SW. Continue to the left. More Chaotic Zones and another item. Continue along the path and take the warp point at the most right. Take the elevator up. More scenes and take the platform up. There are a healing point and save point, so use them. Continue on from the NE path. Another item on the way. Eventually, another item on the way. After even more long path, you get to another item. One more after that. Finally, you will meet up with Walter and more scenes. You will fight Automata Royal. So much for easy bosses, this is just another to the list. Defend and heal more frequent, then gang up on both sides. After, move up to north for another item. Ignore the right path(dead end) and go left. Continue on and another item. There is also a healing point. To the right, there is the save point. This is the last one you will get before you end the game. Once you are ready, continue on. After some LONG way, more scenes. It is time for the final battles of the game. First up, Maurits. Of course, just in human form with only nearly 40000 HPs, this is another easy battle to the list. As usual, the front line two can gang up on him from back and forth, the other two can be magic users, supporting from far away. The magic users don't need that many spells, just some powerful one and healing ones, the rest can be turned off. Next, same Maurits, but with aura. Still, only a bit over 40000 HPs. However, keep yourself safe and defend more frequently. The back line can heal you. The character you control, should just defend then sneak behind it and combo him. If you have Piyohan, equip it to shorten your Stun Time incase you got stunned. It would be even better if you got Piyo Check. After, wanna save your game? Well, you can back track that LONG way, to that last save point. Anyway, go north from Maurits. It is time for the final battle of the game, against Maurits' third form, NelFes. He's got around 100000 HPs this time around. Don't get too close cuz some of his attacks can hit pretty hard. Defend and sneak behind, so you can wait for the chance to dish out your combo. Some of this attacks also can stun you, but there is Piyohan or Piyo Check. When he's in a sphere form, run around and defend. That's about it, this final boss isn't exactly hard. Afterward, sit back and enjoy the ending of the game. You have completed the Main Scenario. At the end, the game will promt you to make a save. Do so and might as well be at a different slot than your last save for Main Scenario. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Character Quest---------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ~Down The Cliff This time, Shirley is finally playable. She joins in a battle against Egg Bear with Senel's help. You will fight it again after you beat it once. Afterward, save your game and exit out. Back on the World Map, make your way back to Werites Beacon. ~Werites Beacon Upon entering, more scene. Shirley gets another title. Keep it in mind that shops here have a big update, besure to check them out. Most importantly, the left shop within the Item Shop, is now open. This is the Composition Shop. To make something the shop offers, you need to have the required materials. Within the Inn, go down and check the object near the piano. You will get a new recipe. The one playing the piano here is Cina and she can play tracks from the game. You can also give her a Toast for more tracks. Within the Bakery&Food Shop, there is also another object here for you to check for another recipe. Within the Weapon&Armor Shop, check the odd object to spot that Mimmy and another recipe. Your destination is Muzette's House which is the upper right part of the town, so head to that direction. You would meet up with Will just by the house. After that, exit out the town and head to Port On Lake. ~Port On Lake More scene, then exit out for even more. You will end up in a battle. You will get two new titles. Then head back to Werites Beacon. ~Werites Beacon Head back to Will's House. Then exit out for a scene and then to the Graveyard. After, head to the Inn. Check the newly appeared odd object for another recipe. Then go down. Now, the right stairs is no longer blocked, you can now go down to the B2F of the Inn. Of course, this is the Arena. Senel will end up fighting Moses. Just get close to him and combo him to death. Afterward, Grune gets another title. Enter Will's House for more scene. You'll get the Sorcerer Scanner. Hay and Will also get new titles. Now your party is complete. Your destination is the Lumen Spring from the very beginning of the game. ~Arena (Optional) You can enter the Single Match or the Party Match(4 Characters). Each includes 3 ranks: Elementary, Intermediate and Advanced Level, as well as 3 fights for each Level. Also, there is a 'Special' for Single&Party Match after you clear the Advanced Level. BTW, you can't use Item or Escape during an Arena Battle. For Single Match, the character you are using for the Arena is the Leader of the party(i.e on screen character), so keep that in mind. You can clear the Advanced Level of Single Match with different character to get Equipment and Title. Single Match: Elementary - 500 Gald Intermediate - 1000 Gald Advanced - 2000 Gald Senel: Mum Bane(Armor), Light Speed Fist(Title) Will: Mjolnir(Weapon), Intelli Champ(Title) Chloe: Gold Armor(Armor), Soul Edge(Title) Norma: Gold Straw(Weapon), Bubble Master(Title) Moses: Gungnir(Weapon), Superiority In Arguing(Title) Jay: Ninja Mask(Head), HitMan Jay(Title) Grune: Purple Hood(Head), Her Majesty(Title) Shirley: Shaman Dress(Armor), Angry MelFes(Title) Special - 0 Gald, you get to fight Mimmy Bread - Heaven's Claw(Weapon For Senel) VS Mimmy Bread: Rather a hard fight, considering she is pretty aggressive with combo and hit hard with her Bread Soujutsu(:P). Win the Party Match Advanced Level first, to get Extreme. Equip it on Chloe and yes, I am using her. Start it up with Climax Gauge at Max. Use Majinken Shunga. After that, head to most left or right side, use Majinken Shunga. When she is near, press Down Down to do Passing Through. Go to the other side, use Majinken Shunga. Repeat til she dies. Knowing when to do Passing Through can be very critical. When she's low on HPs, use Climax Mode to finish her off. You should be around Level 60, and with Extreme, you can do decent damage with Majinken Shunga. Party Match: Elementary - 1000 Gald Intermediate - 2000 Gald Advanced - 3000 Gald - Extreme(Acc) Special - 0 Gald, you get to fight Curtis and Isabella - Krona Symbol(Acc) ~Fallingwater Upon entering, more scene. After, continue on and eventually, more scene. Norma will use the Sorcerer Scanner and you will gain the Key of the Bow. Continue on and Norma will use the Sorcerer Scanner again. This time, Rare Lizardman is found and you have to fight it. Afterward, continue on and besure to save your game before you get into Lumen Spring. ~Lumen Spring Go SW to head to the beach. You will end up fighting Wald. Nothing really hard, just defend, sneak behind and combo. After, more scenes and the game will promt you to make a save at the end. ~Werites Beacon Head to Muzette's House. More scenes, Will gets another title. After, exit out Will's House. Then exit out Werites Beacon and use the duct to go to Great Hollow. ~Great Hollow You've been here before, I am not going to say much. However, the items, just like previously with the new ones at Fallingwater, have been updated. So, don't forget to get them. At the end, you will fight Ancient Harpy, a floating boss. If you got any Tech that can attack mid air, use them. Or else, depend on your Spell users. After, don't go back yet. Go to the left and into Near The Underground Lake. There, two new items. Now, back to Werites Beacon. ~Werites Beacon After, to the Water Fountain area. After, to the Beacon and take the elevator down to The Quite Lands. ~Thunder Monument Another old area but new items. At the end, you will fight Fefnir. Another easy boss. Sneak behind and combo. If you are at its front, it will attack pretty agressively. After, Grune gets another title. Grab the items here and return to Werites Beacon. ~Werites Beacon After, head to Will's House. Next, back to Will's House. Afterward, head to Will's House for one last time. Head up to 2F. Afterward, exit out the town and head to Waterways. ~Waterways Another old area but new items. The path you are to take is the south one. Eventually another scene and Moses gets a new title. Continue on, you will get to another easy Puzzle Booth. After, continue on. At the end, you will fight Dark Will. He has short chanting time, thus he can attack with magic pretty fast. Forget about defending and avoiding, jus run up and combo him to death. Just don't let him attempt to chant at all. ~Werites Beacon After, the game will promt you to make another save. More scenes and Will gets another title. The game will promt you to make another save. More scenes and afterward, attempt to leave the town. After that, the game promts you to make yet another save. Head to the Water Fountain area. ~Werites Beacon After scenes, attempt to leave the town for more scene. Then go to the Man Eating Ruins. ~Man Eating Ruins After, go north to enter. You know it, old area but new items. Continue on and more scene. Eventually, you get to another Puzzle Booth. Nothing hard about it. Just work your way to get the cubes at right and left down. Then you would have 6 cubes in total. To get to the 4 cubes and the duct at north, work your way from the center. If you pile a straight line with the 6 cubes from the center/south, you would just make it to north. After, go up and you will fight Bloody Bed and Mind Flare. Go after Mind Flare then Bloody Bed. Neither of them are much of a fight. Just combo them til death. Afterward, exit out and back to Werites Beacon. ~Werites Beacon After, more scene and Norma gets another title. Back to Will's House. Now, go to the Beacon and use the Elevator to get down to The Quite Lands. Then head to the Ice Monument. ~Ice Monument Old area and new items, enough said. Eventually, you will fight Bear Wald. This is at least a harder fight than the previous one. Lots of HPs, and attacks can be pretty deadly. Defend or stay away. When you find some opening, sneak behind and attack. He's quite the punch bag though. Thus, if you are looking for some high hits, you are more than welcome to try on it. Also, it's got high HPs so you can get real high hits if you can chain your combo well. Regardless, you still should watch out for its attacks and don't go all crazy because you can combo well here and it can endure it due to the high HPs. After, back to Werites Beacon. ~Werites Beacon After, head to the Hospital, then to the Inn. Afterward, to the Graveyard then exit out the Graveyard. Next, to the Crystal Forest. ~Crystal Forest You know it, another old area with new items. Besure to save your game before you enter that new path through the crystal. After, you will end up fighting Dark Norma. This is very similar to fighting that Dark Will previously. Just go crazy and combo her til death. She won't be much of a fight if you don't let her chant. Afterward, enter that new warp. Continue on for more scene. Take another warp point and even more scene. Norma gets another title at the end. The game will promt you to make a save at the end. After, Shirley gets another title. Now, head toward Will's House. Afterward, go to the Inn then back to Will's House. After, exit out the town and to the Village Of The Perines. ~Village Of The Perines After, head into the village. Head into Maurits' House. More scenes and Shirley gets another title. Exit the house and head to the north part of the village. After, go south and more scene. You will end up fighting Gulf Wald. Rather tough enemy since it can hit real hard. The magic users on the back can just back up your front line with healing only. It does have lots of HPs as well. The same old sneak behind and combo it when you see an opening would work. Just watch out your HPs, defend and heal it yourself if you need to. Afterward, return to Werites Beacon. ~Werites Beacon More scenes. Head to Will's House. ~Werites Beacon After, Moses gets another title. Exit out the town. Go to the Hidden Fortress. ~Hidden Fortress Yet another old area but with new items. Continue on and you will get to the Puzzle Booth. The closer central crystal you can easily get to, by shooting toward it. As to get the duct and the other crystal, you just have to move away the cubes and that's about it. Nothing hard about it, just lots of works. After, more scene and Chloe another title. At the end, you will fight the ChariotGate. Big target and got lots of HPs. Go behind and blast it with your best combo. Do watch out though, it can do some decent damage so make sure you do Passing Through frequently to get to its back. From time to time, it also spin itself to attack both sides, so don't get too close. More scenes then exit out this place. Return to Werites Beacon. ~Werites Beacon After, head to Will's House. Next, to the Graveyard. After, Norma gets another title. Then to the Hospital. More scenes and to the Beacon. Take the elevator down and to the Earth Monument. ~Earth Monument No surprise, old area with new items. On the way, check an odd red obeject to spot that Mimmy for another recipe. Continue on and more scenes. In the end, you will fight Chuhla Wald. Similar to other Wald, it can hit hard so besure to sneak behind it as usual. It has quite lot of HPs, so don't rush things. Defend and heal more often and attack from behind when you see an opening. Your magic users can always stay behind and heal only. After, return to Werites Beacon. ~Werites Beacon Head to the Hospital. After, go to the Graveyard. Besure to save your game on the way. More scenes and you will end up fighting Chloe. She has decent amount of HPs, but it's really just her and Senel. This is not much of a battle, considering all the weakness and opening that she can leaves out to you. When she is running to you, run to her and do Passing Through. She will mostly be doing a Tech even though you just passed her. Well, that means go up and combo her. Don't rely too much on Passing Through though, defend then attack from time to time. She can also use Majinken which is long distant, and you can always use Majinken as well. After, back to the Hospital. Exit out and head to Forest Of No Return. ~Forest Of No Return Yes, there are new items. However, even though this is an old area, it is still pretty confusing. The last time you were here, you were going the other way around. Regardless, there are still blue butterflies around in case you are lost. If there aren't blue butterflies, the path is either one way or you just go for the 'pinky ground' path. Eventually, you will meet up with Chloe and Alcott/Stingle. You will end up fighting Dark Chloe. Similar to the last one, but you got 3 more characters. Since Chloe doesn't really have that much more HPs than the last time, this shouldn't take much time. Now, the problem is, she can just overide and hit you back even if you are trying to combo her. So, defend and wait for the chance to get her from the back. Most of her attacks are close range and often can cause lots of damage. If you want to play it cheap, you can leave 3 magic users on the back and attack, while having Senel or other melee fighter to defend and lure her. She can attack with combos so be more patience with your defending. After, the game will promt you to make a save. More scenes. Both Shirley and Chloe will get new titles. The game will promt you to make another save. Then Senel will get another title after. Head toward the Hospital for a scene then go in the Hospital. ~Werites Beacon Attempt to exit out the town for more scene. Back on the World Map, go about 2 O'Clock all the way to get to Misty Mountains. ~Misty Mountains Another old area but new items. At the end, you will fight Sphinx. Another in air enemy with decent amount of HPs. If you got any anti air tech, use them. Especially techs that attack the air and bring down the enemy. If not, depend on your magic users. Combo it here isn't going to be smooth, so the battle will take some time even though it doesn't have that much HPs. After, return to Werites Beacon. ~Werites Beacon After, head toward Will's House. Then exit out the town. Back on the World Map, take the duct to the "Opposite Shore Of The Inland Sea". Then go to the left to get to The Grags. ~The Grags Need I say more? Old area but new items. Eventually, a scene. Go south after, to spot that odd cactus to find Mimmy for another recipe. In the end, you will fight Fenrir. Not a hard fight even though it has lots of HPs. Defend and then combo. Heal from time to time and you should beat it with next to no problem. After, exit out and back to Werites Beacon. ~Werites Beacon After, head up to the 2F of Will's House. Enter the left room. Then head to the area before the Beacon. More scene at southern part. Next day, to Will's House. Exit out the town and head to Bandits' Lair. ~Bandits' Lair Don't expect much, this is still an old area but just with new items. Make your way up and you will get to another Puzzle Booth. Use the cubes so you can make your wawy to the duct, nothing hard about it. After, enter the right room. You will fight Dark Moses and Mad Dog Guito. Aim for Mad Dog Guito first then that Dark Moses. Taking out Mad Dog Guito doesn't take much but combo, just defend from time to time, especially against that Dark Moses' attacks from the distant. After, get close to that Dark Moses and combo him til death. More scenes and the game will promt you to make another save. After, Grune and Moses get new titles. The game will promt you to save again. More scenes. Senel gets another title and the game will promt you to save yet again. ~Werites Beacon More scenes and head to Muzette's House. ~Werites Beacon After, exit out the town and head to Secret Passage. ~Secret Passage After, Jay gets anothe title. No surprise, another old area with new items. Midway, you will fight the Ninja. Nothing to it, just another small fish. Continue on and you will get to another Puzzle Booth. Nothing hard about it, just mess with the cubes to get to the mirror/crystal, as well as the duct. ~Old Mofumofu Village After that, you will get to fight with Beelzebub and Belladonna. Belladonna can be taken care off easily. As for that Beelzebub, it will take longer. Continue to combo it and just besure to defend or avoid its breath attack. Afterward, continue on. ~Secret Passage The second section of the Secret Passage, still the same but with new items. Continue on and more scenes, then you can either go to the Mountain Path for few new items or back track your way out to get to the next location. Use the duct to get to Mofumofu Village. ~Mofumofu Village Head to Jay's House. After, back to Werites Beacon. ~Werites Beacon Head to Will's House. After, exit out and head to Ruins Of Frozen Light. ~Ruins Of Frozen Light Again with the old area and new items. Eventually, you get to another Puzzle Booth. Again, not hard, just a matter of moving cubes around, to get various crystals. After, Moses gets another title. Continue on and take the elevator at NW. You will end up fighting Dullahan. Talk about a tank with over 180000 HPs. Avoid frontal confrontation, and sneak behide to attack. Depend and heal if you need to. Watch out for your HPs though, because it can cause heavy damage. Defend and walk away if you are low on HPs. No need to rush, slowly combo it from the behind each time and beat it eventually. More scenes. Back out and to the Mofumofu Village. ~Mofumofu Village Continue on a bit for a scene then to Jay's House. More scenes, then to the NW entrance for more scene. You will also get new titles for characters. Exit out and back to Werites Beacon. ~Werites Beacon Head to the Beacon, then take the NE platform up, to the Train. Take it to the Mirage Palace. ~Mirage Palace You been here before, just new items this time. Continue on and yet another Puzzle Booth. Same as before, bring down all the cubes. So, you have 6 of them in total. Use them to get the two crystals, then the duct in the end. After, take all the left warp points to move on. Continue on and in the end, you will end up fighting Dark Jay and Solon. Both got around 11000 HPs. Keep your distance with them since they are mostly melee fighters, fast ones as well. Keep your focus on that Solon then go for that Dark Jay. Dark Jay doesn't provide that much challenge, instead, Solon can attack hard and can use magic as well. As usual, have magic users on the back. It would be better with one attack-all magic and a healing magic for them, the rest can be turned off. Your melee can defend and try to get to the behind then combo. If you can get both Dark Jay and Solon, that would be even better. Afterward, short scene with Schwarz and Shirley gets another title. The game will promt you to make a save. ~Werites Beacon Within the Inn, go up to 2F and to the middle room. ~Werites Beacon After, exit out the town. Back on the World Map, take the duct to the "Opposite Shore Of The Inland Sea". Then go north to get to the Bridge. ~Bridge Yup, old area with new items. Eventually, you get to another Puzzle Booth. Very similar to what you did before, push them down south and make a straight line from right to the left, to the duct. But this time, you will be one short. Pull the top cube at the left side, and use it to fill in that one spot. After, continue on. In the end, you will fight Dark Vaclav. Not bad for the difficulty. This is actually one of the harder fights you have encounter so far. Defend as much and sneak behind to combo. He can still stun you, so besure to equip Piyo Check. Your magic users should also just have one healing and one strong magic. If the healing is not enough, do it yourself with items. If you don't heal often, you are going to die fast after couple hits. Be more cautious and you would beat him eventually. More scenes. After, back to Werites Beacon. ~Werites Beacon After, go to Will's House. Then exit out the towe, to Altar Of The Sea. ~Altar Of The Sea Another old area with new items, go figure. Continue on and at the end, you get to fight Anubis Gigant. This guy is tough. Not only it has 200000 HPs, but also can hit hard. Try to maintain your HPs at high or full. If you need to, have one magic user to heal the party constantly, and might as well make that the only magic that character should use. If you need to further healing, use items to do so. To tackel it, defend and same old: get behind and combo. Because its size, combo it is like punching at some sand bag. If you are good with long combo, you are gonna have an easier time. Watch out its rush attack though, so don't go all crazy with your combo and defend more often. After, more scenes and head back to Werites Beacon. ~Werites Beacon To the Beacon and take the NE platform up to the Train. With the Train, go to Wings Of Light. ~Wings Of Light Bad new, this is another old area(with new items). However, good new is, this is the last one, of the old areas. Continue on and you will get to another Puzzle Booth. Similar to the last time you were here, this one just got mirrors moving at the center. You still need to time things right in order to get the 4 crystals. However, this is not tricky nor hard, just a matter of timing. After, continue on. Of course, we all know that LONG path that awaits you. And yes, you have to walk that LONG path. In the end, you will face Schwarz. Your goal is only to reduce half of her HPs, so that would really be easy. Her melee attacks can be defend or you could just sneak to her behind and combo her. The thing to watch out is her magic, powerful and short chanting time. She moves around rather rapid and fast, so you can't really get that much combo on her. Rather, go with the steady and slow routine to defeat her. More scenes and Grune gets another title. ~Werites Beacon After, to Will's House. Shirley gets another title at the end. Exit out and go back to Altar Of The Sea. *Besure to save your game BEFORE you enter Altar Of The Sea* ~Altar Of The Sea You will be taken to the last area and more scenes. You will end up fighting the PandemoniumGate. It has 320000 HPs, talk about a lot. The one you are using should be equipping Extreme(win the Arena's Party Match Advanced Level) and that will make things go faster. Aside from the high HPs, it is rather easy. Defend and heal from time to time. The rest of the time, combo it like a punch bag. If it dives down, run around and defend. After, more scenes. Before you take that warp point, you can back track. Save your game or do whatever you wish to do. Once you are ready, take that warp point to advance. ~The Cradle Of Time Just continue on then fight 2 groups of mini bosses. Easy? Not really, if you consider this: You HAVE to fight the enemies within a group CONSECUTIVELY. You will be doing this for about 13 floors. Luckily, it's divided up to two groups and you have a break for each. One group has 6 consecutive fights and the other group has 7 consecutive fights. If you ever try to abort in the middle of a group, you'll have to do this from the first fight of that group all over again when you come back. Good thing is, they are mostly mini bosses you have fought before: 1F, Jousaigame 2F, Gust Lucifer 3F, ChariotGate 4F, Silver Gulf, Gold Gulf 5F, Diva 6F, Dino Worm You should back track. Heal and save your game. 7F, Dark Senel, Dark Shirley 8F, Fenrir 9F, Beelzebub 10F, GranGate 11F, Dragon 12F, Crystal Chuhla 13F, Automata Royal You should back track. Heal and save your game. Keep it in mind that you are just before the final battles, thus, this is your last chance. If you are using Senel, prepare him with his Garyuu Ougi "Mujinkeitsuigeki". Once you are ready, move on to fight Schwarz. Senel should also equip that Acc "Extreme", but you have to watch out for his HPs and try to defend more. First battle, reduce half of her HPs. You have done it before, this shouldn't be any more difficult. Second battle, last battle of the game. Magic users that stay at the back line should really just have one powerful magic and a healing one. Norma's Resurrection comes in handy here, and she should be casting this constantly. Thus, all her other magic might as well be turned off. The other magic user could just heal and attack. As for the two melee, Senel and Chloe for me. Let Chloe do her techs and she will use items to heal if you need more healings. As for Senel, try to knock her down and try Mujinkeitsuigeki. That Garyuu Ougi can do tons of damage to her. If you are having a hard time getting her down, just initiate a Climax Mode. Attack all you want then do the Climax Combo. She will be down, then quickily go over and perform Mujinkeitsuigeki. She can attack real fast and deadly with both melee and magic, so keep your distance and defend. Wait for the chance to attack or use long distant moves like Majinken/Majinken Souga. After you beat her, that ends the game, completely. Sit back and enjoy the real ending. Afterward, the game will promt you to make another save. Do so and may have that at a different slot. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Load that Clear Game save and you will start the game from the beginning.
