For 99% of the time, this document should only be on GameFAQs/GameSpot, IGN,
1UP and GameHelp. However, I almost always give permission to fan sites of the
particular game/series. If you are one of them, please E-Mail and ask. As for

<Illegal Selling>
Yes, there are lowlifes that are worse than thieves like Cheat CC. Just to make
few dollars, there are users on EBay STOLE & SOLD FAQs that can be found on
GameFAQs. Unfortunately, such ridiculous and outrageous action is still active
in EBay. However, that doesn't mean we can't do anything. As CJayC suggests,
the right way to stop these people is to hit them in the pocketbook(boot them
off of EBay, ruin their auctions...etc). To start things off, send something
called the Notice of Claimed Infringement to EBay:

Sign and send it back to EBay by Fax at (408)516-8811.
As for those that try to get away with 'Fair Use', that's just laughable. That
is only applicable when it's not being fairly used for profit. Please don't go

Further, do not think that you can get away by just deleting these warnings.
Due to your obvious Copy&Paste, getting proof of Copyright Infringement will be
beyond easy. Besides, I already embedded messages within this document which

<About The FAQ>
This FAQ/Walkthrough is solely based on the Japanese version of 'Tales Of
Destiny 2', an RPG made/published by Tales Studio/Namco. Since this is based on
the Japanese version only and I don't play any English version of any game,
please refrain from asking questions related to the English version.
If you are playing the Japanese version, then I will assume you know kana and
at least the basic of Japanese. I'll ignore all questions due to the fact that
you can't read any Japanese. Also, I don't put any Japanese in any of my FAQ so
it will never be in Shift-JIS or EUC format. Lastly, I no longer do any story
based FAQ/Walkthrough, so refrain from asking that. However, I don't mind any
specific story question if you are really stuck, likewise with any gameplay
related question, as long as you know kana and the basic. This just can't be
said enough: Please learn some kana and the basic. For studies of Japanese,

<Cresta City>
You will end up fighting Owl Bear with Loni's help. After, you will be back in
Cresta City. Check the near tomato that's outside the Row House for an item. If
you enter the Row House, check the stove for an item. Check the lower right
lettuce garden for an item. To the east, there is the Inn&Food Shop. Within, go
talk to the chef for the Hamburger recipe. Check the pot near the Food Shop for
an item. Take the stairs up to the roof. Check the box for an item.
Anyway, once you are ready, go north within Cresta City to get to the Dunamis
Orphanage. Enter the near right house then check the middle for an item and
check the toilet for another item. Next, enter the left house. Check the upper
left that's near the food for an item then check the closet at the stairs. Go
up to the 2nd floor. Near room is Kyle's Room. Check the left for an item then
the drawers at the right for two more items. Exit out and enter the right room.
Check the left for an item then exit out at the right. Finally, head back to
Kyle's Room to rest. Afterward, go down to talk to Loni then exit out the
Dunamis Orphanage and exit out Cresta City. Go SE from Cresta City to get to
Laguna Ruins.

<Laguna Ruins>
Go right for an item then enter from the NW. Next area, save your game. Go to
the south for an item then check the near north for a hidden item. Before you
go north, check the east for two more items.
Next area, go on to the west. Get the item and you will fall down at the end.
You can push the blocks into the machine. You can get about five items. As for
the correct block, it's the one at west. That gets you the Rope. Head to the
west and use the Rope to get up. Go on to the next area.
Save your game. There is a stone block here. Move it to north to form a path.
That's how you get the item at north and around the middle of this area. After,
remove the stone block then go on for the boss fight.

Boss: Buer
Get Kyle to attack and Loni can use Heal to support. Don't forget to Guard and
Back Step when you need to.

After, go on to the last area. Attempt to exit out at the end.

<Darirushade Groundwater Way>
Judas will join the party. Get the item then exit out the room. Enter the near
room for three items. Get near the stairs and you will get the Sorcerer Ring.
Press R2 at the switch to reveal the path. Save your game and move on.
Use the Sorcerer Ring to light up the altar that's at the middle. You can then
get items at right and left. The lower left path is to advance. Next area, get
the Stone-Cutter from the Tool Box then to the left. Head up the ladder and get
the item. Save your game. Use the Sorcerer Ring to burn the ropes. Get down and
move on to the next area.
Move the statue toward the sticky net then burn it with the Sorcerer Ring. You
will end up in a boss fight.

Boss: Vassago
Judas can stay in the back and keep on using Stone Zapper. Kyle can Guard and
wait for Stone Zapper hits. Loni can use Heal to support.
-------------
Go on to the last area and Judas will leave the party. Exit out and go all the
way back to Cresta City. Go enter the Dunamis Orphanage then talk to Rutee. Go
down and head toward Rutee. You will get the Scale Mail, World Map, Monster
Book and 1000 Gald.
Within the Dunamis Orphanage, go up to 2F. Check the east cage at the hallway.
You can name it. Exit out Cresta City afterward. Move around to the west and
you will find Ancient City Darirushade.

<Ancient City Darirushade>
Enter the near right Inn. Talk to the chef for the Sweet Pafe recipe. Exit out
the Inn and go left. You can meet with the Onyx Wing. Check the food for items.
Exit out Darirushade and go NW to Heaments Valley.

<Heaments Valley>
Go east to meet the Merchant. Go back and down south. Jump to the NE and go
down for an item. Back track and down to SW for two items. Jump to the right to
get the Pendant. Go to the SE to save your game then to the next area.
Go east and check SE for an item. Go east to get an item. Jump to the west to
get another item. Jump up to NW for one more item. To get up to NE, you would
need the wind while jumping. After, go north to another area. Go west for an
item then go east to exit out. Go east to Aigrette.

<Aigrette>
Enter the near Food Shop. Talk to the chef to get the Pescatora recipe. Exit
out and enter the near villager house. Check the pot for an item. Before you go
NE, check the north for an item.
Next area, within the Equipment Shop, go up to 2nd floor and check the box for
an item. If you take the east ladder, you can push away the cat for an item.
Once you are ready, go in the Inn and talk to the Oldman. Exit out then go back
to the Inn. Talk to the Oldman. Afterward, exit out and try to go through the
guards. If you get up to the end room at the 2nd floor of the Inn, you will
find the Cat-Loving Oldman. However, you would need the Beckoning Cat. You can
not buy that till much later in the game.
Once you are ready, go back to the 1st area of Aigrette. Get up to the roof of
the Equipment Shop. There is another set of ladder that leads to the west. Get
in the cave at the end.

<Strayrise Ruins>
To the left and right for about three items. You can press R2 to get the stones
down. Save your game and go north. There is a path to the next area, an item
and stairs to the 2nd floor. Go up and to break the north wall, keep pressing
R2. It leads to three items.
Go back down and go north to the next area. The answer is DESTINY. That's the
path you need to take. Get the item and go through the seal.
You will be at the Strayrise Sanctuary. Save your game at east and go toward
the most east for the boss fight.

Boss: Barbatos
You can't win this and you are only to reduce half of his HP. From the start,
he will cast Grand Banish. Quickly get near and try to stop his chanting. If
not, Magic Guard it. Kyle can keep on with the combo and Loni can use Heal to
support. Once you've reduced quarter of his HP, he will use Poisonic Field. Use
a Liquor Bottle.

After, Judas and Reala will join the party. Check the lower left for an item.
Go south to get back to Aigrette. To get to Aigrette Harbor, exit out Aigrette
at SE then go east. Before that, there are few things we can check out:
- Strayrise Sanctuary, you can enter the lower left house now. Talk to Philia
for Combo Command
- Aigrette, talk to the Cook Chief within the Inn. You can play the Waiter mini
game

<Aigrette Harbor>
Go up to the right and you can get on the ship. It costs 400 Gald.

<Fixed Connection Ship>
Save your game then exit out the room. Check the near left for an item. Move to
the right and take the stairs up. Get in the right room and check the bed for
an item. You can take the lower left path to exit out or go up for the other
path. Go up and take the path. Out on the deck, go up toward Reala.
After, go back down to save your game. From the room with the save point, head
to the left then exit out to the deck. Go left for the boss fight.

Boss: Forneus Tail
There are three tails and they use Splash. Magic Guard or stop their chanting.
Kyle can use Kuushouzan, Reala can use Wind Slash, Loni and Judas can both use
Shadow Edge.

After, go back down to save your game. From the room with the save point, go
right to take the stairs. You can take the right ladder down for another boss
fight.

Boss: Forneus
There are two tails along with Forneus. Take out the tails first. As for that
Forneus, use Magic Guard often against its spells.

After, go back down with the near left stairs. Go left & exit out to the deck.
Lastly, go back up to speak with the Captain.

<Reine Village>
You will end up in Reine Village. Within Lilith's Home, check the closet near
Reala for an item. Check the hamster for an item and the near drawer for one
more item. Exit out the house at the end.
Talk to the east Verdictor to get the Moon Selector. Within the Inn&General
Shop, talk to the chef to get the Omelet Rice recipe. Go in the lower left room
then check the toilet and the closet for two items.
Within Lilith's Home, get in the bath room and near the window to spot the
Peeping Hero. Within the 1st floor of Inn&General Shop, take the ladder up to
speak with Oldman Bob. Pick 1st choice 4 times or 2nd choice 2 times. You can
get random small amount of Gald. You can exit and enter back to repeat.
Once you've talked with the Oldman and Old Woman in Reine Village, go back to
Lilith and rest. Exit out and talk to Reala around the middle of the village.
Go back to Lilith's Home. You will get some food, the Collector Book and Moon
Gradius at the end. You can also use Refine now. Exit out the village at the
end.

<A Ridge Of White Clouds>
Take your time to explore around for items. There are also entrances to caves
that lead to more items. At south, there is a bridge to SE. Within the small
house, check the east and north for two items. Exit out and enter back for the
Fried Food recipe. Continue on and go through caves to get to the SE. That is
where Neustadt is.

<Neustadt>
From the center fountain, check the near east barrels for an item. Within the
northern house, check the desk for an item. Within the General&Food Shop, talk
to the chef to get the Risotto recipe. If you go NW, it leads to the arena. Go
in the west room and check the box on the desk for an item. Near the northern
house, there is the Mahha Youth. You can play the Race mini game. Within the
Inn, there is the bartender where you can play the 2nd Waiter mini game if you
already cleared the 1st one in Aigrette. Further, you can also find the Onyx
Wing at NW.
Once you are ready, go NE to the harbor. Speak with the crowd. Back track to
the previous area and enter the northern house. Speak with the Merchant and go
exit out Neustadt. Go west to the mine.

<Oberon Abandoned Mine>
Enter the near left room for two items and the Cheese Cake recipe. You can go
up from the left or take the middle path. Go up and check things out first. Go
back down and take the middle path. Save your game and go south for two items.
Check the west and get the item. As for the Lens Engine, you need to put in 200
Lens. At north, you can get two more items.
Don't go back to the 1st area yet, go on to the right. Check the carts for more
Lens and more Lens at the south crates. Make sure you push off the mini boat
that's by the crates. As you can see, you can go N, NE and SE. Go north. Check
the NE for more Lens. The south crate also got more Lens. Go south. Check the
NE for an item and more Lens. Check both ends of the tube around the middle for
more Lens. Check the SE for an item and more Lens. You may back track to the
1st area of the mine.
Take the path up and hit both levers first. After, hit the switch then a bomb
will drop down. The mini boat that you pushed off earlier will catch the bomb.
Get the bomb near the pile then use R2 to set it off. Before you move on, go
back up and get another bomb to drop down. This time, just push off the boat.
Go after the boat and with the bomb, you can bomb the west cracked wall. That
leads to two more items.
Anyway, go back to the 1st area and go NE. Hit the switch and go back to make
another bomb. It won't drop down this time. Go back and hit the switch to get
the bomb. Use it to bomb the near right cracked wall. Go on toward the slate.
Go back to Neustadt and back to the Merchant. You can go NE to get on the ship.
On the ship, head toward the west deck then go around to get out to the mid
level. Talk to Judas and you will end up in Snowjulia.

<Snowjulia>
There is a box at west but you have to pay 4000 Gald for it. Check the south
for another item. Within the Inn, speak with the chef to get the Roll Cabbage
recipe. Within the Food Shop, check the north barrel for an item. Exit out at
the end. If you go NW, there is Heideberg.

<Chelsea's Hut>
NW of Heideberg, you can find Chelsea's Hut. Check the closet for an item. As
for Chelsea, she will ask for items and you can get those items from shops in
various cities. You can't complete this till later.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
<Heideberg>
Within the Equipment Shop, check around the lower right for an item. You can
also talk to Winters within the Equipment Shop. But, you need the Belserium.
Once you are ready, go NW to the next area. Go on to another area. Check around
the west snowman for an item. With the Food Shop, talk to the chef to get the
Jam Toast recipe. At NE, you can meet with the Onyx Wing again.
Go NW to the castle. Before you go on, take the lower left paths to get items.
There are six in total. Next area, check the lower left paths for 6 more items
again. After, go on to meet with Woodrow. Check the back room then back toward
Woodrow.
Attempt to exit out the castle then go back toward the castle. At the area just
before the castle, go NE to the park. Next, go take the NW path. Save your game
and head inside. Go on and keep fighting off enemies. At the end, time for a
boss fight.

Boss: Sabnock
Ose will be helping out Sabnock in this fight. Since Sabnock is weak against
Water and Earth, use Splash, Air Pressure and Stone Zapper. If you are using
Kyle, do Normal Attacks -> Chirihajin -> Kuuhazeppuugeki. Make sure you take
out Ose ASAP then get Kyle to Guard in front of Sabnock. Watch out for his HP
since he will use Negative Gate if the HP is down to the last quarter.

<Aigrette>
Enter Aigrette and head into the Inn. Talk to the chef to get the Meat Loaf
recipe. Go to the Strayrise Sanctuary. Enter the Sanctuary and toward Nanaly.
Nanaly will join the party. Exit out and head to Aigrette Harbor. Talk to the
chef to get the Napolitan recipe. However, your Total Proficiencies needs to be
at least 9. Anyway, take the ship to Chelike. On the ship, head up and exit out
to the mid level.

<Chelike>
Check the lower right house for an item. Go north to the next area. Check the
near left of the middle fish for an item. Check the NW boat for another item.
Within the 2nd floor of the General&Food Shop, check the jar for an item. In
the northern villager house, talk to the chef and pay 6850 Gald for the Seafood
Curry recipe. If you go SE, it leads to another area. Within the Inn, talk to
the chef to get the Fruit Juice recipe.
Once you are ready, exit out and go SW.

<Heat Liver>
Go on and collect the one item that's on the way. At the long area, there are
six items you can get. To avoid the heat wave, you will need to stand behind a
rock. Before you go north, check around the area between the middle and the
north. There is a hold you can fall down. In there, you can get three items and
save your game.
After, go on to the north for the boss fight.

Boss: Vepar
Get Nanaly and Reala use Splash then Kyle can attack. Make sure you equip Flare
Mantle and use Panacea Bottle if you need to.

After, back track and go south in the long area. Go down and go north for two
more items. Go south all the way to get one last item. Now, you can back track
all the way to cross the bridge. Go NW to Hope Town.

<Hope Town>
In the near Row House, talk to the chef to get the Steak recipe. Be sure to
check the north for an item. In Nanaly's Home, get the item and check NE for
another item. BTW, the Quiz Book you get from Nanaly's Home allows you to take
on various quiz.
Once you are ready, go NW. Within the NW Shop, take the ladder up and check
near the fence for an item. Afterward, go south toward the grave. At the end,
go back to Nanaly's Home. Anyway, go east of Hope Town.

<Trash Mountain>
At the 1st area, there are three blocks. Push them to the machine for items. DO
NOT push them through the gas. At lower left, there is also an item. Go on to
the next area. There are three more blocks. Avoid the gas and push them to the
machine for items. After, take the stairs down.
Go on and save your game. Check the middle of the rocks for an item. There are
three paths. The east leads to an item. Ignore the middle and take the west.
Get the item and go on to north.
Next, you can go left and right. The left leads to an item. Go on to the right.
Get the item at left and right then you can go up to exit out. Get near the
block and you will kick it down. You can back track and push that into the
machine. Anyway, go on to the next area.
Go on and you can kick another block down. Just remember to push that into the
machine. Anyway, enter the house. Red switch is one, Green switch is three and
Blue switch is five. Red and Green would add up to 4 which opens up the door
that requires 4. Use that idea to turn on and off switches, then check doors to
get through. There are 4 items and the Fish Pot recipe.
Exit out at the end and go NE.

<Calbiore Holy Place>
Go in and save your game. Take either path down. Get two items then check the
object. Press R2 then the door will open. There's a quick fight then you can
go north.
You will be back to Heideberg. Go back to the Throne then check the back room.
Go back toward Woodrow and exit out the Throne. Go south to the guest room and
rest. Next, go back to Woodrow. Exit out Heideberg at the end then go SW.

<Ground Army Base Former Site>
Get the item and enter the left house. Get the Sapling and save your game. Exit
out and go north. Get the item at east and plant the Sapling. There are two
houses you can enter but ignore the left one. Thus, go in the NE house.
Get the item and remember the fireplace in this area. Go on and get the item on
the way. Next area, get the item and check west for a hidden item. You can go
up or take the lower right path. Take the lower right. It leads to an item and
an ice block. Press R2 three times to break it. Go back one area and take the
ladder up.
Once you are outside, check SW for an item. Enter the east for an item then go
enter the west. Go down to get the Coal. With the Coal, get back to the
fireplace. Put the Coal then press R2 to set it on fire. All three seals are
now broken. Back track up and enter the west. Get the item and push the statue
to the left. Go down to the last area to find the IXI Fossler.
You will end up in Strayrise Sanctuary. A quick fight then get the item and go
save your game. Next area, check NW for an item then go on to another area. Go
on and don't forget to look out for items.
Once you are out, take the two ladders for items. There is one more item at NE.
Save your game and enter the Sanctuary for the boss fight.

Boss: Elraine
She tends to use Press Guard when you normal attack her. If you are using Kyle,
then get him to Guard or Magic Guard. The others can use spells and once those
spells hit Elraine, get Kyle to do combo.

After, exit out and Philia will give you the Sorcerer Scope. Use L2 to use it.
Anyway, save your game and back track all the way to where you landed the IXI
Fossler.

<Flying Dragon>
You will end up here. Save your game and if you back down to south, you can
take the left portal to get an item. Most importantly, L2 at the end and check
for a quick fight. Once you've destroyed the device, go back to the area with
the save point.
For the lower left item, you will have to fight Fake first. Next, go take the
upper left path. It leads to two items and L2 at the device for another quick
fight. After, go back to the area with the save point.
Take the upper right path. Use R2 to kill the Mother Cell that's at the east.
Go on to the next area for two items, as well as another device. L2 it and go
in another fight. Go back to the area with the save point.
Take the lower right lift and you need to use L2. The next area is rather big
and somewhat complex. There are four items and four ladders in total. The first
three items are easy to get, same with the first three ladders. The 4th ladder
is at the north and the 4th item is at the west. Near the 4th item, there is
also the lift to the area with the items and device. Back track to the area
with the save point.
Save your game and go north for the boss fight.

Boss: Glasya Labolas
Use Kyle, Loni, Reala and Nanaly. Be sure to equip Flare Mantle and Paralyze
Check. More, you should use Fish Pot recipe before this battle. If all fails,
use Panacea Bottle. Basically, get Kyle and Loni to Guard and attack. As for
Reala and Nanaly, they can stay in the back to use magic.

After, you have ten minutes to escape. Take the lower right lift. There is a
new item but you have to fight Fake first. Near the west lift, there is the
switch. Use L2 at the switch then take the lift. Use L2 at the right to find
the Emergency Exit. Another item on the way and you also need to fight Fake
first.
Move on and get the two items. Go up for another item but you need to fight
Fake first. Go on to exit out.

need to gather five Galm Fangs. In order to limit their movement, you can use
L2 at rotten grasses then check for holes.
Anyway, once you got 5 Galm Fangs, go back to the poison grass. Check around
the middle for two items then go exit out. Enter the near city.

the end. Afterward, exit out and check the north for a path that leads up to
the top of the mountain. At the top, you will find Shrine Of Light.

Afterward, save your game and go on to meet Elraine. Due to the revelation of
the true identity of Judas, Judas can now use his 3rd playthrough or on only
Hiougi, Majinrengokusatsu.
Within the World Of Dream, toward the Dunamis Orphanage. Next, check the nearby
to find Nanaly. Go south and continue toward the grave.

Boss: HRX-2
Due to its Field Of Effects, it's better to get characters to stay in the back
and use spells. When it's down to its last quarter of HP, avoid its Melt Down
attack since that's instant death and it also explodes.

After, check HRX-2 for a Battle Suit. If you head in the east, you can find the
Darkness Merchant but they will run off.
Anyway, go NW. Don't head in NW house yet, go in the west. At the last area, go
check around the Scientist for two items. One of them requires L2. After, back
track and go in NW.
Within, you can go down at west. Check the lower right room for Additional
Questions for the Quiz Book. If you go down further, you can find the chef for
the Borshch recipe. Once you are done, you may exit out the Ground Army Base.
Go east to the Goods Depository.

<Goods Depository>
Save your game and enter. As you can see, there is a time limit and you have 10
minutes. Within, get the 2 items and there is the Master Container but you
can't do much with it now. There are two paths you can take. Take the east path
down and push all the blocks into the machine, as well as getting the two
items. There is also the Bio Key Container but you can't do much with it right
now. Keep in mind that you have the Cell Chip right now and you shouldn't go
outside with it. Anyway, go back up and take the north path.
Get the item and move on. Get the item and there is another Container here.
Ignore it and go up to NW. Enter the room to get an item and the Gene Chip from
the container. Go west and get another item before moving on.
Get one more item and continue to the west. Get two items here. Don't go down
or go west. There are two containers here. Ignore the right one and check the
left one for the Bio Chip. Now, take the stairs down and check the container
for the Master Key. If you need to, you can now go out and save your game.
From the 1st area, go east down and check the container for the Bio Key. Go
east and head up to the 2nd level. Go west and at the end room, check the lower
right container for the Cell Key. With Cell, Bio and Master Key, go back to the
most east area of the first level. Check the container and you may exit out
this place. However, there is one more item. From the west most area of the 2nd
level, go west for another item. After, report back to the Ground Army Base.
Back at the Ground Army Base, go NW and Harold will leave the party for now.
This is a good chance to speak with the Darkness Merchant within the east
house. Once you are done with that, go toward the NW and within, go west then
enter the lower right room to rest. After, go back up and exit out at the end.
Enter the near west and go down to the Hangar. Speak with Dimlos and pick the
1st choice.

<Dyculoft>
You will end up here. After the quick fight then save your game. Go east to
move on. Go on and at the 1st intersection, go north and east for items. There
is also a ladder at east which leads to one more item. After, go south to move

At the next intersection, go east that has a ladder to another item. Next, go
south for another intersection. Go west for an item then go east. At the next
intersection, the east got another ladder that leads to more item. After, go
south and check the west for an item. Go east at the end.
At the following intersections, go NW, SW and NW. There are three ways to take.
The SW leads to an item and to move on, go NW and NW. Check the north for an
item and go SW.
Go along the path and at the next intersection, go east for an item. After, go
north to move on. Go east and north for another item, then go south, south and
west for one more item. Now, just go all the way to the SE, for the path to
move on and one more item.
Next area, go on and check the lower left for an item. Exit out and go right to
move on. Save your game and another quick fight in the Control Room. Keep on
fighting for about five minutes.
After, back track all the way to the 1st area of Dyculoft. You will end up in
the Ground Army Base. Exit out and head to the Goods Depository. Within, go
east all the way to the Swordian Lab. Speak with Harold to get Piyohan. Go back
to the Ground Army Base and go talk to Dimlos. Exit out and go NW to find a
cave.

<Spiral Cave>
Go on to the next area. Check the lower and upper east for two items. There is
actually one more item hidden at SE. Anyway, go SE to another area. There are
two items on the way and use L2 near the red dot for the third item. Go on to

Go on and there are three items on the way. One of them is lesser obvious since
it's hidden at the back. Go south to another area. Go on to the east for one
item and one red dot which requires L2. Check around the south for the third
item which is somewhat hidden.
Next area, gather the two items and save your game. Go on for the boss fight.

Boss: Halphas
Get one character to get near and Guard or Avoid. The rest can keep on using
spells or heal. Since it has lots of HPs, this will take a long time. When it's
down to its last quarter of HP, it gets more dangerous when it uses Sphere
Spark, Emergency and especially Melt Down.

After, L2 at the red dot for an item and check around near SW for some Gald.
You may go back to the Ground Army Base now. Within the Ground Army Base, go NW
and you will be in the Goods Depository. Go east all the way to the Swordian
Lab. Exit out and back in the Ground Army Base. Head in NW and go down to rest.
Head up and you will end up in Dyculoft.

Gather three items and go south. Go around and gather about eight items. Next
area, you have to endure around four minutes. If you want to fight, go around
and do so. If not, circle around to avoid them. After, exit and enter back this
room and there will be a new item at north. Next, take the lift down.
Speak with all five enemies to get five items then save your game. Go on for
the boss fight.

Boss: Barbatos
Get Kyle to get near Barbatos and Guard. The other three should use spells or
heal. Avoid using items to heal, so use healing spells only. Due to Barbatos'
huge amount of HP, this takes a long time. When he's down to half of his HP, he
will use Poisonic Field like before. Others can keep on staying at the back and
use spells. As for Kyle, use a Liquor Bottle. When he's down to his last
quarter of HP, he will start to use Execution. Make sure to revive Kyle ASAP.

After, back track all the way to the 1st area and go north.

You will end up in the Outside Husks. Use the lower right map to navigate
through this place. Go on and at the intersection, go west for two items then

around and at the next intersection, go east for an item. From where you are,
go up to north.
At the top north, go east for an item then go west. Move on then go south, east
then north for an item. Next, go south, west and north for one more item.
Lastly, go on to the SW to enter Dyculoft.

Within, you will enter the 1st boss fight.

Boss: Tiamat
It's weak against Light, so use that advantage. Get characters to stay back to
heal and use Prism Flasher, as well as Divine Saber. Once the spells hit on
Tiamat, get Kyle to combo it. Due to its lack of HP, this battle should end
pretty fast.

After, save your game. Get the item and head down. Move around to get 2 items
then go NE. Get the item at the left then go on to east. Get the item then go
up again.
Gather three items then go north. Three more items to go on to the next area.
Get three more items then save your game. Move on for the boss fight.

Boss: Barbatos
One of the harder fights so far. You can freely use items but don't use any
healing spell. Focus on using Kyle to get Barbatos to use his TP more. As for
the other characters, stay at the back and attack with spells. After you've
taken out half of his HP, stop using any spell. Get characters to use physical
attacks and arts only. If you want to avoid his Air Pressure, then get Kyle to
use a spell. After that, quickly do a Spell Cancel and avoid Air Pressure. If
you can keep this up, you can reduce Barbatos' TP a lot more faster. Once his
TP is low, you can do whatever you wish to finish him off. If all fails, use an
All Divide.

After, go on to meet Woodrow. Go to the Guest Room and rest. Head to the Park
after. Next, go back to the Guest Room. Exit out at the end and go SW to the
Ground Army Base Former Site. Go into the Hangar to find the IXI Fossler.
Exit out the Strayrise Sanctuary and exit out Aigrette. Go to the Aigrette
Harbor and take the ship to Chelike. Exit out Chelike and go north.

<Calbiore Holy Place/Catacomb>
Save your game within. Head down and go north. Go in at the end. Go on down and
get in the 1st room for an item. Go on down for two more rooms. Go on down 1st
and get the item. Check the lower room for two items. One of the items is sort
of hidden. Within the upper room, use R2 to burn the spider web.
Go down and get the item. Exit out and move up for an item. Now go on down and
enter the gate at the end.
Within the Gate Of Reincarnation, get the near item. There are four paths here:
NE leads to Altar Of Darkness, SE leads to Altar Of Punishment, NW leads to
Altar Of Sin and SW leads to Altar Of Death. Follow this order and light up the
candle in each altar. Each altar also has one item you can get.
Afterward, R2 at the bell then you can go on to north. Get the item and save
your game. Go on and gather four more items then time for another boss fight.

Boss: Gaap
He flies in air unlike most bosses. Since his wind attack is rather hard to
avoid, you may as well Guard. If you plan to use spells, use Fire and Wind
spells. This isn't a hard battle, if you have someone to heal all the time.

After, get near Elraine. You can now freely use the IXI Fossler. There are few
new places you can check out. Skip ahead and read about them or just advance
the game.
As to move on, head to Heideberg to speak with Woodrow, Strayrise Sanctuary to
speak with Philia and Cresta to speak with Rutee. Afterward, go to the
Laguna Ruins. Before you go to the area where you first met Reala, enter the
east with L2. Get the item and L2 at the west, as well as the east for two more
items. Go on to the last area for one more item. Now you may go to the area
where you first met Reala.
After, you will be back at Dunamis Orphanage. Exit out and you may use the
IXI Fossler to go NW, toward the Egg Of God. Of course, before that, there are
lots of things you can do.

<Aquaveil>
It's located at the NE island of the World Map. Within, you can get about six
recipes from the left chef. However, you need to pay him before that. Within
the Inn, there is an item. Within the Mansion, check the right for an item and
speak with Fate. You can take the ladder down but Aqua Labyrinth isn't
available right now. One more thing, the Souvenir Shop sells the Beckoning Cat
which is for the Cat-Loving Oldman in Aigrette.

<Nekonin Village>
It's located at the middle of the World Map, among the top of some circular
snowy region. Within, enter the left house and check the north for an item.
As for now, speak with the Nekonin that's with golden fur. Head to Snowjulia
and speak with the Nekonin at lower right. Go back to the Nekonin in the
Nekonin Village and you can freely name it. After, get in the left house and
use L2 to destroy the wall. Exit and enter back Nekonin Village. Enter the
right house and speak with the Nekonin you named. Take a walk with it and go
in the left house. The Nekonin will go through the broken wall and get the
item for you.

<Tene Of Blacksmith>
It's located at around the SE of Nekonin Village. Within, speak with the
Blacksmith and you will need to pay Gald as the Development Support before you

This particular Hut is located at around NE. It's on a small island that's at
SW of Aquaveil. Speak with the Mysterious Girl in order to view Screen Chat.

<Optional>
With the IXI Fossler, you can go around the World and use the Sorcerer Scope to
discover items. Of course, some items don't need the Sorcerer Scope. The most
important of these field items are the Black Diamond, Black Coral and Black
Pearl. There are 5 for each type so there are 15 in total. However, there are
only 14 on the field. The last one is in the Egg Of God. Luckily, most of these
14 items are marked as hole-like spots on the World. You only need to get near
and L2 to spot them. However, you can't land near some of them since some are
among mists. You will need to find the nearest possible landing spots then walk
all the way to those hole-like spots. There are also two more exceptions: the
one at SE which is in the sea and the one at SW which is on a small island. For
the one in the sea, you will need to land at the near west then walk through
the water. For the one on a small island, it takes practice and precision to
get the IXI Fossler to land there.
Once you have all 15 items, go back to the Mansion in Aquaveil. Go down the
ladder and you can now enter the Aqua Labyrinth. Save your game and enter when
you are ready. You can fight the strongest optional boss called Magna Dyeus at
the end.
Next is the items in towns and cities you can't get earlier or you didn't have
the Sorcerer Scope, so might as well check them out:
- Cresta City, 2nd floor of the Inn. L2 at the cracked wall
- Laguna Ruins, area where you first met Reala. L2 at the top

- Strayrise Sanctuary, west house. At the 1st floor, L2 at the east door that's
near a monitor; At the 2nd floor, L2 at the west door and check the north; At

- Fixed Connection Ship, room with the Memory Circle. Check the left book
- Reine Village, Inn&General Shop. New recipe from the chef
- Reine Village, middle house. L2 at the right to get down for three items
- Neustadt, board around the middle. Check the bulletin board
- Neustadt, Food&General Shop. New recipe from the chef
- Snowjulia, Inn. New recipe from the chef

- Chelsea's Hut, speak with Chelsea and buy the requested items from various
cities: Scope(Heideberg), Pickaxe(Hope Town), Hammer(Aquaveil), Saw(Neustadt)
and Plane(Snowjulia). Be sure to get buy 15 for each
- Heideberg, Equipment Shop. Hand over any Belserium to Winters. There are 16
Belserium in the game
- Neustadt, Inn. Speak with Sakuraba by the piano and pick the 2nd choice for
the Sakuraba Solo In ToD2
- Fixed Connection Ship, speak with the Captain to get the Stamp Card. Try out
various ship routes between locations and speak with the Captain each time
- Darirushade, speak with Trump Man at the 2nd area for a mini game
- Aquaveil, speak with the man outside the Mansion and pick the 3rd choice
- Hope Town, north. Speak with King Cook who shows up after you've cleared the
2nd Waiter mini game
- Dunamis Orphanage, speak with Cinnamon to play for a mini game
- Heideberg, Church. Get near Johnny and Regina. Exit out to speak with Johnny
then back in to speak with Regina. Exit out and enter back this area, go talk
to Johnny, Saga then Regina. Exit out to trigger a scene then get back inside
to talk to Regina. Talk to Saga twice and speak with Johnny. Pick the first
choice to get Johnny's Letter then go to the Strayrise Sanctuary to talk to
Philia. After, back to Johnny
- Reine Village, middle house and middle garden. Speak with Maggie for the Seed
then to the garden. For a different Seed, go to Chelike, Food&General Shop.
Speak with the lower left girl. For more Seed, try the Aqua Labyrinth. As for
that girl in Chelike, she needs the Golden Seed from the gardening
- Chelike, harbor area. Speak with the female at the right for a mini game and
there are six courses in total
- Snowjulia, south part. Speak with the Collector and you can trade in your
Trade Card which is from fighting Cheap Trick in the Egg Of God or you can
get it from Aqua Labyrinth as well
- Aigrette, entrance to the Strayrise Ruins. Speak with the Oldman for a mini
game and there are 30 stages in total

<Egg Of God>
Within, save your game. Check the near north of the statue for an item then go
SW to move on. Go on to a large area. Gather two items and there are lots of
paths you can take here. Go take the SW path first.
Go on and slowly walk around to step on all the switches, as well as gathering
the two items. After, back track and take the upper east path for an item. Go
back and there are two more major paths you need to take. They are the west
path and the NE path. Let's go NE first.
Go on and you would spot an item. You can get it by going right at the next
intersection. As for the next puzzle, use R2 to hit the Red Ball once, Blue
Ball once and the Green Ball once. Since you will be moving, so make sure you
get your position right. You will end up at NW. Get off and hit the Red Ball
nearby twice. Get on and hit the nearby Blue Ball once. You will be moving to
the east. Make sure you hit the next Red Ball twice then get off. At the north,
get on and hit the next Green Ball once. Lastly, hit the next Blue Ball twice.
For the last green seal, the left leads to an item and the right leads to the
switch you want. Back track to the large area and go west this time.
Go on and at the intersection, go south for an item. Go north after. For this
puzzle here, go on and get the item first. Drop down at north. While you are
small, go around to the east to step on the switch. Go back and change back to
big. Step on the switch at west. Go up and change back to small and drop down
to SW. Take the right block and the left block. Step on another switch. That's
all the switches. If you want the item at NW, you need to cross the north while
you are small. You also need to exit and enter back this area if you already
collapsed the path at north. Anyway, back track to the large area and you may
go south.
Go on and get the item. Move on and for the near right item, it's a Cheap Trick
which is quite a tough enemy. Go left up for an item then save your game. There
are three paths you can take. Take the lower right for an item and yet another
Cheap Trick. Go back and take the upper right path. Go on to the Room Of
Fragment(Judas). After the quick fight, you will get a Derris Emblem Fragment.
Go on for two items and a Cheap Trick. Back track and save your game.
Take the west path this time. Go right for an item and go on to the left. You
will be at the Room Of Fragment(Nanaly). After the quick fight, you will get
more Derris Emblem Fragment. Go on and check the item for another Cheap Trick.
Go on down and move along the path.
At the intersection, go left to the Room Of Fragment(Harold). There's also one
more Cheap Trick on the way. After the quick fight, you will get more Derris
Emblem Fragment. After, back track and go right. Go down for an item and more
Cheap Trick. Go on to the right.
You will be at the Room Of Fragment(Loni). After the quick fight, you will get
more Derris Emblem Fragment. In this room, go left for an item and go NE to
move on. At the next intersection, go left for three items, Cheap Trick and the
Room Of Fragment(Kyle). Of course, more Derris Emblem Fragment. Afterward, go
back track and go right for more Cheap Trick. Go down to save your game.
Finally at the last section, go right for an item. Get the item at the right &
if you beat all those three enemies, you can get the Black Coral. Go on to the
left for an item and one more item at the next area. Save your game and this is
it, you are before the final showdown. If this is your 2nd playthrough or on
and have more than One Million Gald, the Final Merchant will also be here. One
more thing, you can also use the Memory Circle to warp back to entrance of the
Egg Of God. After that, you can also use the entrance Memory Circle to warp
back to the last area.
Anyway, once you are ready, go on for the final showdown.

Boss: Elraine
Get characters to either stay in the back to use spells or get close to attack.
Once you've reduced one quarter of her life, try to Guard and stay out of range
more often. If she was to hit you with Indignate Judgement, focus on healing
ASAP. Once she's down to half of her life, there's the FoE Ice Burn. If you are
to get close and attack, equip Freeze Check or use a Liquor Bottle. Once it's
down to her last quarter of life, she will spam Divine Saber. Make sure you
use Magic Guard or Dash away. A lot of her spells can hit you hard, do not
hesitate to revive and heal all the time.

After, you will be taken to the Menu. If you check the Status of Judas, you
can now see his face without the mask. Once you are ready, exit out and time
for the final battle.

Final Boss: Fortuna
Keep on chasing her and attack ASAP. Make sure to use a Liquor Bottle or equip
Paralyze Check soon. It's better you attack her with spells and she tends to
teleport around. Once you've reduced half of her life or more, she will flu up
in air. Attack her with spells and don't forget to watch out for her spells.
Her Indignate Judgement also deal lots of damage. Once she's near death, she
will use Last Vanisher. Make sure you heal ASAP.

Afterward, you've beaten the game. However, there's also the epilogue you can
check out. Exit out Cresta and you are to get to the near Laguna Ruins. Before
that, go around to the north to get to the Aigrette Harbor. Take the ship to
Chelike. Exit out Chelike and go west to Hope Town. Enter Nanaly's Home and
speak with Nanaly. After, go to the Strayrise Sanctuary to speak with Philia
for the Berthelier Seed. Next, go take a ship to Neustadt and go west to the
Oberon Abandoned Mine. Within, go right up and go east to check the slate for
the Berthelier Flower. Get back to Philia for the Berthelier Secret Herb and
lastly, go back to Nanaly in Hope Town. Her brother Luu will get better as time
goes. If you wish, you can check back with Nanaly from time to time. Afterward,
go to the top of the Laguna Ruins to end the game.
