>> Jade is a colonel from the Malkuth Empire, although many claim that he has the ability to get an even higher rank than that. He is a cunning man, despite his always smiling face. He is known by many as "Jade the Necromancer", and is feared by most of those he has already faced in battle. Some say he is the right-hand man of Peony the Ninth, Malkuth's emperor. He is also known for his excellent mastery of the Fonic Artes.
Jade may appear to some as an all-around obnoxious guy (and true enough, he actually is^^), but a lot of players appeal to this old guy. He even placed 2nd in the Third Tales Popularity Contest hosted by the Official Tales Channel. He's smart, funny (to a certain dangerous extent), and powerful. What more can you ask for? (Jade fan talking here, so don't mind me).
Jade uses spears in battle.

- Go to Grand Chokmah before heading for the Isle of Feres
the first time and to screen with the bar. Head to left for
the final part of this event, where Jade gets the 'Soft Meanie'
title. Fun.
Emperor's Best Friend

- Finish the Peony's Rappigs sidequest.
Gambler at Heart

- Requirements: Complete the following events:
- Ant Lion Man
- Yulia City Items
- Engeve's Defense
- Hard Worker
- Financial Investor
Avaiable: After clearing the Isle of Feres.
Once the requirements are done, head to Chesedonia and speak
with Astor there. Then go to the next places to get the
titles and go along with the event.
Jade's 'Gambler at Heart' : Speak to Nephry.
Experimental Chef
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
- Available: After Florian arrives at Daath.
Requirements: Complete the 'Miso Stew Recipe' event.
Head towards Keterburg, to the 2nd floor of the hotel. If you
have a character master all 18 recipes, make that character
your on-screen character to receive his/her title.
Lawman
¯¯¯¯¯¯
- Available: I believe anytime after you make a level 3
item in Din' shop.
Head to Chesedonia into Din's shop. If you've made an item
of level 3 or higher, she will not be there this time and
Jade will use the time to inspect his place for any illegal
business. He gets the 'Lawman' title in the end.
Evil Fonist? [C]
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
- Head to Grand Chokmah after viewing the final event
before the final battle in Eldrant and talk to Emperor Peony.
He will give each character his/her new costume along
with the title.
Resort King [C]
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
- Available: After Natalia rejoins the party, after
the Absorption Gate.
Requirement: Clear 'Peony's Rappigs' event first.
Head to Keterburg, into the hotel and approach the
middle of the counter to start an event related to
the spa. You will get the titles for each character.
Doctor Mambo [C]
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
- Available: After Natalia and Largo's scene in
Baticul Port.
Head to the Fon Research Lab I in Belkend. Inside,
go north, north, and west for an event. Choose any
character for the test subject (However, choosing Luke,
Tear, Anise, or Guy will open up a skit). In the end,
Jade gets the title of 'Doctor Mambo'.
Battle Master [C]
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
- Clear the Advanced Singles match in the Baticul Coliseum.
Abyss Blue [C]
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
- Available: After Natalia rejoins the party, after
the Absorption Gate.
Requirement: Be on 2nd or further playthrough.
Speak to the maid with gray-ish hair in the room
before the one that has all of Peony's Rappigs.
You will get the series of Abyss Man titles.
Item Collector
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
- Available: After clearing Mt. Zaleho for the 2nd time.
Requirement: 2nd or further playthrough.
If you have the complete Collector's Book, go to the
Inn in Daath and Jade will suggest to stay for the night.
Jade will get the title in the end. I say 2nd or further
playthrough because you can only obtain some items in the
extra dungeons of the 2nd playthrough (or further), as
well as the unique items from the Crafting event.

He is the inventor of Fomicry, a way of making the replicas. He, Nephry(his sister), Dist, and Peony were once students of retired Locrian General Nebilim. But because of his meddling with the impossible, he caused Nebilim her death. Nebilim was the first person that Jade actually looked up to. She was a Seventh Fonist, someone who has the ability to do something he would never be able to do. Although, as a kid, his curiosity got the better of him, so he tried to use the Seventh Fonon. This ultimately led to him accidentally striking down the Professor, and instantly killing her. He attempted to make a replica of her in order to ask for forgiveness from the replica, but since his skills were much too inferior back then, he only created a monster. This was the reason he gave up Fomicry research altogether.
