Tales of The Rays: May 2020 Preview Now Live!

Don't QQ for this one!

Fans of Destiny and Innocence, be sure to watch this one!

Bandai Namco's Youtube Channel has finally updated with a new preview for May 2020!

Headlining this month is another treat for Tales of Destiny fans: Karyl Sheeden is coming in the new story update for May! This year has been very kind to Destiny fans... and for good reason. It almost felt like Destiny's party would never all make it into Rays.

Next is a bit of a surprise. We're getting a Tales of Innocence focused event. The two new characters in this event are Ricardo Soldato and QQ Selezneva! In addition to them, Ange is given a new seasonal Mirrage Arte. Surprisingly, Kongwai is also featured in the event, however he'll be getting an Overray Mirrage Arte. We'll see what this event entails to fit both a seasonal and an overray which is certainly not the usual event format.

That's it for new characters. We're also getting a new Spirit Gear Event. This time the trio of heroes getting new Spirit Gears are Kohaku who gains Efreet's power (and Kor's clothes, evidently), Lloyd who's been blessed with the power of Earth (and has two glowing arms unlike most character's single glowing arm!) and Colette who fittingly has the power of light from Aska! We also get to see a little bit of Colette's new Mirrage Arte.

That's it for May's preview. It may not seem like much, but unfortunately the ongoing pandemic concerns have forced them to change their plans and slow down. Nonetheless, we do still get 3 new characters, which isn't bad for a spirit gear month! More information is promised for a later date as well, so stay tuned for more info!

When he’s not playing Tales, Khayyaam tries his best to get as many people he knows as possible into the series. He’s also a fan of all sorts of games in general, especially Fighting Games, Action Games and RPGs, and he loves to write and talk about them too, especially from a gameplay and game design perspective. One day he’ll make his own game, or be a voice actor in a game, but for now he’s happy just playing games and talking about them.
