New Tales of Berseria Commercial Highlights Eleanor

Meet Eleanor, an exorcist from the Abbey

The latest Tales of Berseria character commercial highlights Eleanor.

Translation below. Thanks to Mathis in the comments section for that Velvet line I couldn't understand!

Eleanor: In exchange of you losing, I will have your life!

Eleanor: Daemon Velvet! I challenge you to a fight!

Velvet: How splendid of you, Miss Exorcist.

Eleanor:Why are you destroying what the people have worked to build?!

Velvet: Because I'm not human.

Eleanor: I will not avert my eyes from the reality that lies before me.

-After the title-

Eleanor: I was ignorant of everything.

Velvet: Ignorance is bliss, too, though.

Next week will probably be Eizen.

I would guess that ??? is "Okirei ne, Taimashi-sama."

I didn't hear the last bit very well, but I just looked up some info about Eleanor to see how Velvet could call her and an Exorcist (Taimashi) seems pretty ok.

"O" before "kirei" probably just emphasizes the word "kirei" to show that it's somewhat sarcastic. "Kirei" usually means beautiful as many probably know, but it's used in various situations. Like there's a word "kireigoto", which can sometimes mean something like "a pretty but naive and unreal talk". Maybe that's what Velvet meant.

I don't know how to translate it nicely though 😉 Maybe something like "How splendid of you, Miss Exorcist". But I don't know about the word choice...

      That's correct!
mhmm, "How splendid of you, Miss Exorcist" seems good! (for sub, tho)
For dub, i wonder what Nandai will do.
      Hype intensifies~
