  >>Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk is an upcoming sequel to Tales of Symphonia for the Nintendo Wii. It has been announced for a US release sometime this fall, and has been renamed as Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. The Japanese opening song will be by misono, called Nininsankyaku (Three-Legged Race). The game takes place two years after the events of the first Symphonia. The game will be having the previous Flex-Range Linear Motion Battle System (a.k.a. Free Run) from Tales of the Abyss. An interesting system in the game would be the raising of monsters. Like a pet system, Emil has the ability to catch certain defeated monsters and will raise them and have them aid him in his battles. In addition to that, the previous ToS cast will be present to help Emil out. They will be playable, but will not be available for the whole of the game. Also, the Wii-mote will be used to point-and-click a town/dungeon to go to, meaning, the characters don't roam the world map. |
