Legretta used to be Tear's instructor back when she was just a cadet in the Oracle Knights. Later in the game, and if you do this particular sidequest, the party will find out that she is actually Giselle Oslo, the brother of an Oracle Knight Van sent to the front lines even though he knew his death was in the Score. He sought revenge against Van, but was defeated, and was instead, made to be his aide. During the time she spent with Van, she changed how he saw him and forgot all about her revenge.
