Tales of Crestoria's Story Will Continue in Manga Form

Tales of Crestoria's story will continue!

Announced during the Tales of YouTube Channel Winter Special are the plans for Tales of Crestoria's story going forward, given the announcement of the game's upcoming closure.

They have announced that the game's main scenario will be continued in the form of a manga serialization. The scenario writer is still Jun Kumagai, the same writer for the game, and the art will be by Tsubaki Ayasugi (Luck & Logic: Paradox Twin; Butai Shoujo☆Kageki Revue Starlight: The LIVE). The story will focus on the 6 original characters of Tales of Crestoria. Concept art of the characters were also shown:

Nice to meet you all. I am Tsubaki Ayasugi, a manga artist. I will be drawing how the story of Kanata and the others go from hereon out. Though the medium has now changed from the game to a manga, I will do my best to convey Kanata’s charm to everyone. Thank you very much for having me! I’ll do my best!

Details on which medium it will be published on, as well as release date, will be announced at a later date.

Tales of CrestoriaTales of Crestoria is an upcoming mobile title dedicated for smartphones that is an entirely new story and doesn’t focus on previous Tales of titles. The game features Kanata Hjuger, a young man branded as a Transgressor because of the crimeof “protecting someone important” to him. The game will be released for iOS and Android on 2020.
