AC's "Tales of Merchandise Monthly" is back! Now promptly renamed "Tales of Merchandise Monthly" and with a slightly new look!
I'm sorry for having to combine two months again. It's exam month this week so yeah. 20 days worth of exams whoohoo. Though April is pretty lax (it's summer vacation) so I can get back to a monthly basis again) This issue adds a new section which may or may not be around every month - a Coming Soon section. This will be for Tales of merchandise that have been announced but are not yet available for pre-order anywhere.To those who missed our debut post eleven months ago, this column of ours focuses on any upcoming Tales of Series related merchandise, as well as those that (we think) are already available and are worth collecting. And hey, maybe once this column reaches a year I'll stop posting this intro paragraph all the time, yeah?
In this month's issue, aside from celebrating Hearts R's release, we'll be focusing on where to get your long-awaited pre-orders for Tales of Xillia.
New Pre-orders:
With Tales of Hearts R released, it's time to give light to our next anticipated game in the series, especially for fans in the West: Tales of Xillia! Though we haven't really heard much for the game, the set release for the game is sometime this year (and no, those dates in GameStop and whatnot are only placeholders - the game has no official release date yet), so it's only a matter of time before we get any news. Just recently announced is an upcoming Tales of Symphonia: The Animation Visual Complete Book, featuring a complete set of ufotable's work for Tales of Symphonia. It will be out on March 28.

Recently revealed during Winter Wonder Festival 2013, Alter will be releasing a Tales of Xillia Milla plushie Anytime Milla and a Tales of Vesperia 1/8 Scale Estelle Figure. The Milla one is expected to be released this year, but I'm not sure on the Estelle figure. Probably also this year. But then Alter loves to delay things so... Anyway, in addition, MegaHouse will be releasing a Volume 2 of their Petit Chara Land Tales of Series Sets, this time featuring Kyle, Reala, Flynn, Jude (Xillia 1 ver), Ludger and Elle, plus another secret character. No release date yet.
Tales of Hearts R was just released a few days ago! How is the game for everyone? I'm still waiting for my copy to get here, but hopefully it'll get here quicker. From what I've heard so far, the game's pretty cool. Others are saying that those who've played the DS version will find it okay, but those who didn't will find it a really good game. Not sure what that means, but yeah.
If you haven't ordered the game or if you were aiming for the Link Edition, some shops, mainly Play-Asia, has it in stock again, so you might want to check them out again.

Volume 2 of the Tales of Friends Gel Straps was just released last February 28th. This is the set that appears pinkish, as compared to Volume 1 which was more blue.

Like what you've been seeing so far in our Tales of Card Evolve gallery? Then check out the Tales of Card Evolve Visual Card Book, released last February 28th. The book features 400 cards from the Card Evolve cards released in the span of 2012 (so you may not see some of the recent cards, like the Symphonia batch) and includes a Celsius card as a bonus.

I didn't post about these before because they were out of stock in all shops at that time, but now HobbySearch is having a back-order for these Tales of Xillia 2 Deza Jacket for iPhones. The various cases feature the Tales of Xillia 2 characters and are available for the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 5. Other shops had cases for other phones (Galaxy, etc.) but they are currently sold out. Only the ones for the iPhone are being back-ordered.
