The latest issue of Tales of Magazine apparently reveals an upcoming Tales title, "Tales of Link," which will be making its way to smartphones in Japan this fall season of 2013.

The upcoming title will be featuring character designs by Daigo Okumura (Tales of Xillia 2 and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World main characters' designer). It will have Okitomo Shiratori as the main producer, Ryuuji Oodate as the project producer (who was also the main producer of Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3 and Tales of Innocence R, plus other games) and Hironori Naoi as the Director (director of Tales of Hearts R and Tales of the Heroes: Twin Brave).
Some of the game's characters have also been revealed already in Tales Mag (all name romanizations are currently unofficial at the moment):

- This newbie adventurer has set out of her village to pursue her goal. She met Lippi during her journey, and together, they are searching for the "Messiah" ( ?????, kyuseishu-sama") together. She wears flashy attire and bloomers (like gym clothes).

"I am certain I saw your power before. You are the Messiah, correct?"
- Lippi is a fairy that has been instructed by Leone to collect the "Seeds of Calamity." It serves Leone and is now searching for the Messiah, the one who has the power to purify these Seeds. According to the source, she looks like a Mormo (from Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology) that is hairier/fuzzier and is on all fours and with what seems to be a smartphone around its neck.

"Whether it's the power to protect, or the power to destroy - is there really a difference? They're both just violence."
- A swordsman Sara and company meet on their journey in search of the Messiah. He has a relentless sense of thought when it comes to power. According to the source, he has multiple swords on him - a great sword on his back, 3 katanas on his hips plus 2 smaller ones.

"We will stop the Calamity no matter what. We will see to it that it will be stopped."
- A Goddess who managed to escape when the seal on the Seeds of Calamity was removed. She is holding back the budding of the seeds, and hence is unable to move. She gave Lippi power and entrusted to her the task of collecting the Seeds of Calamity.
If you'll remember, "Tales of Link" was one of the recently discovered Tales of trademarks filed by Namco Bandai Japan. They're finally making use of one of them.
