The end of today's Tales of Festival 2020 Alternative live broadcast ended with the announcement for a second installment of this alternative broadcast.
Today's Tales of Festival 2020 Alternative live was more of a little something for fans who want to have that "Tales of Festival" experience at home. Next month, however, we're getting another, allegedly bigger broadcast that aims to give the experience to both Festival fans and those who have never actually attended the annual event.
Set on July 5, 2020 at 8PM JST, TalesFes 2020 Alternative aims to deliver the latest news for the Tales of Series, which will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The broadcast will have not just the usual entertainment segments in Tales of Festival, but also will also take a trip down the history of the series and the history of Tales of Festival. It is meant to be for new and old Tales fans alike. The broadcast will be available again via YouTube Live, Periscope (via Twitter) and Asobi Store. The list of guests include:
- Masaya Onosaka (Zelos Wilder - Tales of Symphonia) - MC
- Katsuyuki Konishi (Lloyd Irving - Tales of Symphonia) - MC
- Chihiro Suzuki (Luke fon Fabre - Tales of the Abyss) - Guest
- Toriumi Kosuke (Yuri Lowell - Tales of Vesperia) - Guest
- Eiji Takemoto (Raven - Tales of Vesperia) - Guest
- Ryohei Kimura (Sorey - Tales of Zestiria) - Guest
- Yusuke Tomizawa - Tales of General Producer
In addition, new information on merchandise, collaborations, and game information such as for "Tales of Asteria, Tales of the Rays, and others" will be available.
In today's live broadcast, it was shown that a part of next month's broadcast has actually already been recorded in advance, featuring the Tales of Series general producer (and Tales of Arise producer) Yusuke Tomizawa. Masaya Onosaka, Zelos Wilder's voice actor, also teased that "Tomizawa-san is there, so maybe there will be new information?"

Tales of Arise is the latest mothership title (new classification: original title) of the Tales of Series which was first announced during Microsoft’s Press Conference in E3 2019. The game was released for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC Digital via Steam on September 9, 2021 for Asia and Japan and September 10, 2021 for the rest of the world. The game features use of the Unreal Engine 4 and works on the theme of tradition versus evolution of the series.
