Announced in today's Road to TOF TV live stream program, the next Tales of Festival is now in the works!
Tales of Festival 2024 has just officially been announced to take place this June 1 and June 2, 2024 (Saturday and Sunday), again to be held at Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Japan.
The theme for this year is "School Festival," with the website now live with a bit of information. The initial guest cast has also been revealed:
- Masaya Onosaka - Zelos Wilder (Tales of Symphonia)
- Katsuyuki Konishi - Lloyd Irving (Tales of Symphonia)
- Chihiro Suzuki - Luke fon Fabre (Tales of the Abyss)
- Haruka Kudo - Pasca Kanonno (Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology)
- Kosuke Toriumi - Yuri Lowell (Tales of Vesperia)
- Takuya Satou - Alphen (Tales of Arise)
- Shino Shimoji - Shionne (Tales of Arise)
Tales of Festival 2024 Executive Committee Elections
To liven up the event, fans are asked to participate in the Tales of Festival 2024 Execute Committee General Election, which will be a list of 10 characters plus one mascot that will stand as executive committee members and advertiser for the Festival. The top 10 characters (executive members) plus mascot (advertising lead) will get new event key visuals. Do note that members voted will not necessarily have their voice actor appear during the Festival. Voting has started January 15, 10:30PM JST, and will last until January 25, 11:59PM JST. You only get to choose one character for the executive members and one mascot for the advertising lead. You can vote here.
Ticket Information
For now, not much yet on tickets. Official hotel plans for the Festival will start reservations late January to early February 2024. Asobi Premium members will also start their access to tickets sometime February 2024.
Other News
In other news, the Tales of Symphonia Festival 20th Anniversary event held last October will be getting a Blu-ray release on May 29, 2024. Pre-orders are now open at Asobi Store (Japan only).
And just as a reminder, the Blu-ray for last year's Tales of Festival 2023 was released last December 15. Orders are still open via CDJapan.
