Tales of Xillia Limited Edition (aka the Day One Edition) Announced For The US

If you'll recall, despite the fact that the Tales of Xillia Day One Edition was announced alongside its somewhat better Collector's Edition counterpart, it was never really made clear if the US and Canada were getting it. So far, it's only been available in Europe.

Today, apparently due to the demand of the Collector's Edition, Namco Bandai Games America has officially announced a Tales of Xillia Limited Edition (aka what the European branch refers to as the "Day One Edition") for customers in the US and in Canada. This LE is limited to all first-run copies of the game.

So what's in it, exactly? It's pretty much almost the same as the Day One Edition, though I assume this has been updated: the Tales of Xillia game, a character profile booklet and a music CD, all encased in a limited edition packaging. This also includes two DLC costumes featuring Jude and Milla in Cress Albane (Tales of Phantasia) and Stahn Aileron (Tales of Destiny) costumes respectively.

Pre-orders for the LE should be available now in participating retailers (though I've yet to see any have them up officially as of right now. We're all pretty sure GameStop's one of the participating stores). And, like those in the region of Europe, apparently all those who have pre-ordered the regular game will have their orders upgraded to the Limited Edition/Day One Edition.

Tales of Xillia will be released in the US on August 6, 2013 and in Europe on August 9, 2013. Pre-orders are now available at the following places:

Tales of Xillia (Regular US Version) - Play-Asia | GameStop | Amazon
Tales of Xillia (CE US Version) - GameStop | Amazon
Tales of Xillia (Regular EU Version) - Zavvi | ShopTo.net | Play.com | Game.co.uk | Play-Asia
Tales of Xillia (CE EU Version) - Namco Bandai
