After the Age of Chaos, we are now introduced to some more lead characters and the entities known as Seraphim.
Welcome to Tales of Zestiria Berseria the X #01! But seriously.
Just like any first episode for any anime series, it needs something to grab the audience’s attention, and this one fills that quota.
An explanation for that caption is at the very end of this post. And don't worry, Sorey's still in this anime. For this week, anyway.
We now have a Shepherd! Guess who?
It's nice to see some huge differences between this episode and the game, and I very much welcome these differences.
Episode #01 of Zestiria X finds itself still before the game story proper, but then reaches to the very start of the game.
Episode #00 of Tales of Zestiria the X pretty much clears up its intentions — to bridge Zesty with Tales of Berseria and to give Alisha a little more backstory.
