The latest limited quest event in Tales of Crestoria is Anise and Pals, To and Fro, featuring Anise Tatlin and Ion from Tales of the Abyss. This event is a chance to get SSR and SR memoria stones of Anise and Ion respectively. (Like other events, these memoria stones do not become characters when you receive them.) The event will run from Friday, January 15, 2021 at 2:00am EST to Monday, February 1, 2021 at 1:59am. The exchange for the event will remain open until Monday, February 8, at 1:59am though. The story premise for this event is:
One day during a heavy snowfall, Kanata meets a young girl named Anise who works in a village mansion. When Anise says that she's struggling with her work because of the snow, Kanata and Aegis offer to help her out. While working together, they notice a suspicious man following Anise around. A main claiming to be a friend of Anise's, Ion, appears and chases the man away, but Anise and Ion seem to have some secrets of their own.
To receive all of the event rewards, players must clear the quests and complete multiple Beast of the Snowy Mountain raids. The quests drop Divine Kindling, Mini Snowmen (that look like Anise's Tokunaga doll), and White Herbs as rewards. Divine Kindling and Mini Snowmen can be collected and used for the event exchange, which includes Anise and Ion's memoria stones, gleamstones, and a variety of earth ascension materials. White Herbs are used to open an instance of the raid. The Beast of the Snowy Mountain raid drops more Divine Kindling and Mini Snowmen with a very rare chance of also dropping an Ion SR memoria stone or even an Anise SSR memoria stone. Clearing both quests and raids also awards you Event Points, which will accumulate to earn even more prizes.
Certain characters from recent summons also have Attack bonuses during this event. Luke [New Year's First Light] and Cheria [A New Year's Banquet], the characters from the latest Premium Summons, each have a 50% ATK increase during this event's quests and raids. Yuna [Strands of Conflict], the featured character in the current Select Summon, has a 30% ATK boost. Their associated memoria stones also have the same stat bonus. The Anise and Ion memoria stones that are obtained during this event have a 20% and 10% ATK bonus respectively.
When fully awakened, the Anise memoria stone provides an 44% DEF increase to an earth character it is attached to for the first two turns of a battle. The Ion one provides an 85% increase to the CRIT damage of a light ally. Anise's stats are 8,500 HP, 1,000 ATK, and 1,450 DEF at level 100 with all adornment stones. Ion's stats are 9,000 HP, 750 ATK, and 900 DEF at level 100 with all adornment stones.
