*Note that we are quite lenient with the list of answers. For example, we allow spelling mistakes and we allow varying names between the localized and the Japanese versions. With regards to the game names, people don’t have to mention if the song is from a remake/re-imagination exclusive or whatnot, so don’t worry too much.

In this contest, participants are tasked to listen to a roughly 4 and a half minute medley of Tales of songs. The medley contains a total of 5-10 second snippets of 30 Tales of songs, and you are tasked to identify which game each snippet comes from in order. In addition, points are also given if you can give the title of the song. Note that the snippets are only taken from Mothership Titles, and opening themes are a possibility. You can listen to the medley via the following options:

*Note that for video options, the actual medley starts at the 0:25 mark.

The main task, as mentioned, is to identify which game each song snippet is from in the medley, as well as identify the title of the song of each snippet, should you be able to. You're granted 1 point per correct game identification and 1 point per correct song title, bringing the maximum possible points to be 60, but they must be listed in order. Should you be able to identify a game and the song playing but it's not in the correct position, deductions will be made. Note that identifying the song title is actually not required, but it does garner you points and puts you in the lead in terms of winner selections. Also, there may be some songs that don't have an official title, and as such, we will allow obscure titles for some special cases (i.e. "the theme in that bonus dungeon" or something).

Here's a small hint for one of the songs: There's only one Tales of Zestiria track in this medley, look up some E3 demo videos on Youtube and you might hear it there.

So, what's in it for you?

Should there be multiple people with the maximum points, the winners will be picked via random lottery, just like in the past.

The contest will run from today until October 11, 2015 at 7PM EDT. Entries should be sent to a745@abyssalchronicles.com with the Subject "AC Tales of Melodies Zestiria Contest Entry" and the entry format should be as follows:

Desired name/username
Country

Answers:
1.) GAME TITLE - SONG TITLE
2.) GAME TITLE - SONG TITLE
and so on....

Note that you are only allowed to send your entry ONCE. Your entries cannot be amended. If you really don't know the answer, you may leave blanks. If there are tracks you really don't know, you may leave them blank, provided everything is still in order, like so:

12.) GAME TITLE - SONG TITLE
13.) Skip
14.) GAME TITLE - skip song title
and so on...

Thanks and good luck!

FAQ:
1.) Can you put labels on the songs where it transitions?
- Unfortunately, it's part of the challenge to identify the transition of song snippets, so we will not be putting labels. I wasn't the one who made the medley and after listening to it the first time, I could identify the 30 different snippets separated without problems even without the video's audio visualizer, so it shouldn't be a problem for most people. The medley was made with transitions to a new snippet fairly obvious. This is a challenge for you smile.gif.

2.) Can me and a friend work on this together?
- Yes, you can. You can even submit separate entries, if you want. However, we will maintain a "1 household, 1 entry" rule.

3.) Is this open to all countries?
- Yes, anyone can participate. Do note that the Steam code will not work in Japan.

Points to take note of:
1.) Steam codes will include the base bonus, but might not include the reward tiers for pre-orderers.
2.) 2nd and 3rd runner-up winners will be asked to choose between a PS3 or PS4 regular version of Zestiria, and whether an EU or US version. The winner will only get one.
3.) Depending on availability, we cannot guarantee pre-order bonuses for 2nd and 3rd runner-up winners.
4.) Grand prize and 1st runner-up winners will get a US version PS4 Zestiria Collector's Edition each.
5.) Parts of prizes per tier may be shipped out differently. We apologize for the inconvenience.
6.) Due to the nature of the accumulation of prizes, expect delivery at either the end of October to early November.
7.) The contest is open to anyone in the world! But note that the Steam code will not work with Japan.

Any further questions, please ask in the comments! Thank you and good luck!

We would again like to thank Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe as well as EU Community Manager Isshak Gravi for helping us out with the pool of prizes!

That's all! Good luck to everyone! And again, all these contests are made possible from your continued support. Buying from Play-Asia, CDJapan orAmazon through us helps fund all the contests for AC. Thank you to all who've been supporting us through the years!
