Tales of Berseria Upcoming Paid DLC Announced Plus Cooking, Minigames and Katz Boxes Confirmed

Velvet as a pirate. For 300 Yen.

Upcoming Pirate-style, Japanese-style and Summer Vacation-style paid DLC costumes and attachments confirmed, along with the return of series staple Cooking, Minigames and Katz Boxes.

The first upcoming DLC of the game, which will all be available by the game's release date on August 18 via the Japanese PlayStation Store, are the following:

  • Summer Vacation Style - 400 Yen for the entire set. Will also include 3 color variations.
  • Japanese Style - 300 Yen for the set
  • Pirate Style - 300 Yen for the set

There's also a small screen there showing Velvet and Laphicet with a hat and sunglasses, but I'm not sure if that is paid or in-game. It's most-probably in-game, since the DLC ones were announced after it.

The scan also announces the return of three prominent features for Tales of Berseria: (1) Cooking, which I believe we all missed dearly in Tales of Zestiria, (2) Katz, or rather, Katz Boxes, which are mysterious treasure boxes scattered around the world, and (3) Minigames featuring past Tales of characters on them.

Not confirmed yet, but the same scans where the above info are from apparently introduce this character as Shigure Rangetsu, older brother to Rokurou and head of their family. He is voiced by Kazuya Nakai. We're still awaiting full scans to confirm if this is true.
