Story

WARNING: Possible spoilers for those who have yet to complete playing Tales of Arise.

Long ago, the planet Dahna was a rich world full of hope, dreams and with abundance in nature an resources. Its cities were overflowing with smiles, and its citizens lived happily.

Its neighboring planet, Rena, was believed to be home to the gods and where the dead will end up to rest. However, 300 years ago, what trampled down from Rena was calamity and destruction.

As slaves to Rena, the Dahnans were forced to work everyday. Desiring liberation, there were those who resisted, but were ultimately overwhelmed back to despair due to the difference in power.

Those who wish for hope, dreams and ideals were promptly extinguished. Eventually, what festered within the Dahnan’s hearts was nothing but the will to just survive daily life.

And once again today, another man stands before Rena’s arrogance, about to be executed. His name is Zephyr – the leader of Calaglia’s resistance, the Crimson Crows.

Alone, Zephyr mutters his final regret.

For Dahna, for every Dahnan, Dahna must be liberated from Rena. For this man who staked his life fighting for Dahna’s people, how did his regret appear to the Dahnans? What did he leave behind?

Things are reflected differently for each person. People have their pasts, and what is in front of them is seen through a filter. A man who holds a lifeless ideal about to be executed, the one overlooking in a hurry to end it. Those who want to be liberated, but are left frustrated for they can do nothing. One who could care less. Each of their viewpoints. A selfish viewpoint.

And to Alphen, who had no past, just how did Zephyr’s execution look to him?

This Stage aims to focus on the different viewpoints of each character. Another story that depicts Tales of Arise from various pasts.
