Japan is also getting the Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition on January 11, 2019, making it a worldwide release on that date! Check out their special 10th Anniversary Edition with exclusive art by Kosuke Fujishima!
Tales of Vesperia: REMASTER, aka the Japanese edition of Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition, will be released on January 11, 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC Digital via STEAM - on the exact same date as the North American and European release, making this a worldwide release!
The game will be selling for 5,700 Yen + Tax - same price for both physical and digital versions of the PS4 and Switch versions. Please note that the Xbox One version will be digital only for Japan, it seems. Not sure if the same applies for the West. The packaging for the regular edition seems to be the same as the PS3 version of the game, illustrated by Kosuke Fujishima.
Pre-ordering will give you a serial code to watch a special original skit entitled "Special Dramatic Skit! 10th Anniversary Edition" on Tales Channel +.
