Out of nowhere, Tales of Berseria Remastered has just been announced.
Announced just now by Bandai Namco, Tales of Berseria Remastered will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via STEAM next year, on February 27, 2026. Japan, as usual, will be getting the game earlier on February 26. A new trailer has also been released along with the announcement.
A similar trailer was also released in Japanese, with differences in the background music used. The Japanese trailer features the game's opening song, Burn by FLOW. You can watch it here.
Similar to other games in the Tales of Remastered Project, Tales of Berseria Remastered highlights its quality of life improvements, such as a destination icon during exploration, original DLC costumes included, the grade shop being accessible from the start, and encounter toggling.
Pre-order bonuses includes a set of in-game items.
Japan, in addition, will also get purchase bonuses depending from which local shop the game was purchased the game.
Worldwide, we will be getting a Digital Deluxe Edition which includes the base game, a digital art book and digital sound track, and in-game battle BGM pack and a super growth support herb set.
Tales of Berseria Remastered is a fan-favorite entry in the Tales of series that introduced players toVelvet Crowe, a woman whose life is shattered by betrayal. In this remastered edition, players will once again explore a world torn between emotion and reason, where Velvet and her comrades slash through anyone and anything in their path as they navigate a world ofemotional bonds and betrayal.

In addition, a new commemorative artwork for the Tales of Series 30th Anniversary has been set by Ufotable. The new artwork features characters celebrating Anniversaries this 2025-2026, along with characters from the remasters. Said artwork is also being featured in the upcoming Tales of 30th Museum, happening at Seibu Shibuya beginning November 28, 2025 until January 12, 2026. Admission tickets are 2,000 Yen. Tales of Berseria is the latest mothership title of the Tales of Series which was first announced during Tales of Festival 2015. The game was released for both the PS3 and PS4 on August 18, 2016 in Japan, January 24, 2017 in North America and January 27, 2017 in Europe for the PS4 and PC. The game features a female protagonist named Velvet and a theme of pirates and ships. It’s also confirmed as a distant prequel to Tales of Zestiria.
