Famitsu Review Scores 01/18: Tales of Innocence R Gets A 36/40

With only a week left until Tales of Innocence R's release, Famitsu Magazine has released their review scores for the game.

Famitsu gave a score of 9/9/9/9 leading to a total of 36/40. The reviewers generally praised how improved the game was from the DS version, though one complained about the character modeling. The scan also says that it takes 40 hours to finish the main scenario of the game and 60 hours if including side quests. That's a pretty decent score already, considering the scores of the other recent games (Graces Wii: 36/40, Vesperia PS3: 35/40, Graces F: 37/40, Abyss 3DS: 31/40, Xillia: 39/40).

Other games that were also reviewed in this week's issue of the magazine include:

[3DS] Biohazard/Resident Evil Revelations - 10/10/9/10 = 39/40
[3DS] Zoo Keeper 3D - 7/7/7/6 = 27/40
[PS3] Armored Core V - 9/8/8/9 = 34/40
[PSP] Mobile Suit Gundam: Mokuba no Kiseki - 7/7/6/7 = 27/40
[PSP] Renai Banchou 2: Midnight Lesson!!! - 7/7/7/6 = 27/40
[360] Tropico 4 - 8/8/7/8 = 31/40
[PS3] WWE' 12: 8/9/8/9 = 34/40

To those not familiar with Famitsu's review system, they basically have four people review the game and give scores with 10 being the highest. The scores are then added up to give a possible total of 40 points.

There's also a new scan showing the characters' second Mystic Artes and their past lives, though no new information are in them. In addition, Tales of Innocence R will be having a live event this January 22nd from 1pm to 2pm Japan time. Said event will be streamed live online in Namco Bandai's UStream Channel. There is said to be some sort of "small announcement" to be given at the event. Hmmm...

Tales of Innocence R will be released in Japan on January 26, 2012. Pre-orders for Tales of Innocence R are now open on Play-Asia: Japan Version |Asia Version
