Tales of Arise Demo Will Be Available Beginning August 18, Early Previews Are In

PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox One only

Get a chance to play a bit of the game beginning this month!

Great news! A free demo of Tales of Arise will be available for all regions beginning August 18, 2021, Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced today.

The free trial version will be available for the PlayStation® 5, PlayStation® 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. Players can look forward to content such as battle tutorials, and also some of the best Tales of Arise iconic game features such as camping, cooking, and skits.

The trial version is packed with exhilarating content where players can have a first-hand experience at everything, from sub-quests to even battling the powerful enemy "Gigant"!

From the screenshots, the demo seems to be similar to the early demo we go to play. You can read about it here. However, recently gaming websites Gamespot, GameInformer, Siliconera, DualShockers, Famitsu and 4Gamer have released previews to the game after playing a demo that consists of the few first hours of the story. Also note that progress from the demo will NOT be carried over as a save in the main game.

Unfortunately, the PC/STEAM version seems to not be getting the demo treatment.

The Bandai Namco Asia page has also stated that the Asia version of the game will be getting Japanese audio with English subtitles/UI. We're still awaiting for a reply on whether it will also have the English voices.
