The latest event in Tales of Crestoria is Library Panic! Ruckus, featuring Ruca and Illia from Tales of Innocence. This event is a chance to get SSR and SR memoria stones of Ruca and Illia respectively. (Like other events, these memoria stones do not become characters when you receive them.) The event will run from Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 3:00am Eastern time to Friday, September 18, 2020 at 2:59am. The exchange for the event will remain open until Friday, September 25, at 2:59am though. The story premise for this event is:
Ruca, a timid boy, encounters Misella and her friends on his journey. Terrified, Ruca tries to escape from them, but somehow ends up getting them to help him with his work. Will he be able to continue his journey safely?!
To receive all of the event rewards, players must clear the quests and complete multiple Ravenous Pabilsag Raids. The quests drop Feathers of Ingenuity and Sealed Scorpion's Tomes as rewards. Feathers of Ingenuity can be collected and exchanged for prizes at the event exchange. These prizes include Ruca and Illia's memoria stones, gleamstones, adornment stones, and a variety of ascension materials including Princessia, Eye of the Demon Beast, Violent Crystal, Fire Spirit's Rage, Prayer Pennants, Godwood, Dragon Blood, and Rainbow Lens. Sealed Scorpion's Tomes, on the other hand, are used to open an instance of the raid. The Ravenous Pabilsag raid, on the other hand, drops more Feathers of Ingenuity with a very rare chance of also dropping an Illia SR memoria stone or even a Ruca SSR memoria stone. Clearing both quests and raids also awards you Event Points, which will accumulate to earn even more prizes.
Certain characters from recent summons also have Attack bonuses during this event. Rita [Kitty Cat Waitress] and Kohaku [At a Garden Party] each have a 50% ATK increase during this event's quests and raids. Velvet [Tainted by Vengeance] has a 30% ATK boost. Their associated memoria stones also have the same stat bonus. The Ruca and Illia memoria stones that are obtained during this event have a 20% and 10% ATK bonus respectively.
When fully awakened, the Ruca memoria stone provides an 18% HP increase to the character with it equipped. The Illia one reduces damage from the poison debuff by 50% for all earth allies.
