New Tales of Arise - Beyond the Dawn DLC "Quest Introduction" Trailer

Let's see what we can do in the new DLC!

Earlier today, Bandai Namco posted a new trailer for the upcoming Tales of Arise - Beyond the Dawn DLC on their various YouTube channels. Please note that this article and the trailer itself may contain spoilers for the main story of Tales of Arise.

The trailer gives an introductory look at the various quests featured in the DLC content. A few of such quests include the cast visiting Zehypr's memorial site and Dohalim indulging in a newfound hobby of pottery. Additionally, an ongoing quest line of reconstructing various towns will also be available and a "new large dungeon" is present, showcasing a mass cave network with some new enemies and combat gameplay. The trailer concludes by listing the extra costumes and the several editions of the DLC that can be purchased, as well as teasing an intimate scene between Shionne and Alphen.

Is it time for another round of Flamzeron breaking the news reporter voice? So it would seem. I was impressed by how much new content is being added to this DLC. Bamco seems to be making this DLC be a big one, which is good for me because I'll never say no to more Tales of! I was also a bit confused on where the DLC story took place, so this trailer cleared it up for me. The town reconstruction quest looks cool too and reminds me of the similar quest from Tales of Symphonia. Much like how Tales of Arise aimed to change up the formula a bit, this DLC is also breaking some new ground, seeing as how in the past, we would only get new story content in the various upgraded ports of the games. A large part of that is due to the practice of story expansion DLC not being a thing, but I think this DLC has the potential to streamline future endeavors with the series going forward. I'm curious to see how it all turns out!

Tales of Arise - Beyond the Dawn will be available worldwide on November 9th, 2023.

Pre-orders can be found in this post.
