Via their official Facebook page, it has been announced that Tales of Link will be shutting down in all territories on March 27th, 2018. The app will be active and playable until then, but the purchasing of Hero Stones has been disabled as of January 25th, 2018. No exact reason was given for the shutting down of the game.
In closing, the page offered thanks from the developers and publishers of the game to all the fans who played it. A giveaway for various "Tales of" merchandise is also being held on the page as a final farewell gift.
