Rita: Girl who studies/researches Blastia. Hates to have her research interrupted and is quick-tempered. Eccentric, and has a poor social disposition. He says she used magic to create a giant cat hand.
Karol Capel: Member of the Hunting Blades Guild (Called "Makari no Tsurugi" in Japanese though IIRC). He is twelve years old. He accompanies Yuri because of some circumstances.
For ToS-R, the screenshots that SV mentioned are now up in our gallery here. The next page has more. They also have a new commercial up, which you can view here. The cover for misono's CD/DVD for Nininsankyaku was also put up in misono's official website, and is also in the gallery, here.
And for that new Tales for the DS, a list of Namdai's future releases are found in this PDF file. There is a line there which says: "Tales of Series" (Title To Be Declared) for the Nintendo DS. This could be either Tales of the Heart, Genesis, or Nexus, the names that were copyrighted before.
Just to point something out, early on when this PDF was released, Namdai actually had Tales of Vesperia under an "Xbox 360/PlayStation 3" release. We have a screenshot here (from Shadowrep of our forums). BUT after that they did officially announce it as a typographical error over at the Namdai official website, and it has become XB360 exclusive again in the list.
On that note, site updates are on hold until the translators finish their translating, and this PC I use in the net cafe gets reformatted because of a bloody virus. And it takes me time to get all my programs up and running again... Not to mention transfering back all my files from burned CDs >_<!
BTW, plans for the site's version 3 are under way.
There is now a Producer's Blog for Knight of Ratatosk. Along with this update, the Official Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk website has been updated with details on Synthesis, Quest, and an update about monsters in this page. I can't really translate these right now.. I'm sorry, it's just something that's sort of bugging me a little that's not making me do it. Maybe I need to rest...
Um, there are also some new screenshots and an update to the battle system page which shows old Symphonia characters performing high ougis.
Aside from the Flynn Scifo wallpapers, the Tales of Vesperia Official Site has also updated their site with the System page. It shows a few new screenshots, better quality screenshots (scroll down) of a few we had before, plus info on the Material Gathering, Item Synthesis, and Weapon Skills system of the game. We've already posted this info before, but just for a refresher:
1. Materials can be gathered in two ways: monster/enemy drops or via finding them on the world map (kind of like search points). 2. In town, merchants have an extra menu for synthesis, where you can use the materials you gathered to synth new items. A good number of weapons can only be obtained via synthesis. 3. Equipping some weapons/accessories enable you to use a skill that the item has. In due time, once you've accumulated enough Learning Points (LP), you have now learned the skill without having to equip the weapon/accessory. 4. Using a learned skill earns you Skill Points (SP), which you can allocate to other skills to learn them.

some new little tidbit of info and a couple of new pics about DoW, not that much just that the "Sorcerer's Ring" will now be a mini game O_O (I'm guessing they won't allow for us to use it throughout the game but why??? maybe they'll do it like Legendia.......) the other thing is the "Katz Guild"(those weird guys dressed in Katz suits in ToS are back! ) has A LOT of sidequests that will be available(I'm guessing you get new ones available to you as you complete old ones)
