>> RUMOR: Tales of Symphonia Chronicles Possibly Dual Audio?
RUMOR: The most recent issue of Game Informer possibly hints at Tales of Symphonia Chronicles getting the dual audio treatment.
Baba-san has been saying for a while now that dual audio is something they've been considering due to fan demand. But then again, you can actually interpret this as the game possibly retaining the original Japanese tracks with just English subs, as this could possibly because we're getting the PlayStation 2 version of Symphonia in this HD remaster.
For now, this is just a RUMOR, so treat it as such.
Tales of Symphonia: Unisonant Pack, known as Tales of Symphonia Chronicles in the west, will be released in Japan this October 10, 2013 and in the US and Europe early 2014. Pre-orders are now available at the following places:

Japanese-only sounds unlikely since they already have everything recorded for both games except the PS2 additions of ToS and they'd need to leave both games in Japanese for consistency while it most likely doesn't cost them anything to include English. A lot of buyers from US/EU will be buying it for nostalgia so that'd cost them a lot of sales I guess. At the very least I'm expecting dual audio with everything from PS2 unvoiced (that is if this rumor is correct at all).

@Carl: A lot of those people are saying "yay if true" under the assumption that it means dual audio. Yeah, there are a few people that are saying it for just the Japanese track, but those aren't really dual audio supporters. I hope you've noticed I've been italicizing the word "dual" for a reason. I'm saying this as moderator, don't bring people into things like that.

@cutepresea I have no issue with dual audio I have an issue with Japanese voices being the only option though which is the rumor here. I've played games like that where its Japanese voices with English subs and I did not enjoy those games at all because the Japanese voices started to bore me because all it was, was background noise to me.
If they do dual audio more power to them as the minority group gets what they wished for. If it is Japanese voices only with no option for English they are going to lose at least one sale and probably many more as well.
The only reason I brought dual audio people into it is because they will be the ones going hip hip hurray if this is true but then us English voice supporters will be the ones left disappointed on the reverse end.

@Goulmania: I was thinking the exact same thing.

I'm pretty sure that they won't include two different voice actors for the main game and it's PS2 additions. I reckon that they will try to get the original voice actors from ToS to voice the added bits because otherwise fans might consider it sloppy and here's hoping that a tribute to the fans isn't a sloppy product.
I think they’s do well to release the game with the japanese voices and english subs since they’s probably be unable to get all the original english voice actors back (see the symphonia 2 english cast to see what I mean). I’d rather have fully voiced skits and techs than a half dubbed game or different English voice actors.

This can't possibly happen. Namco US/EU finally realizing they're losing sales because of this? Now, if they just shorten the localization time (1/2 year for a simple port?!) and stop changing all kind of names, people like me might actually consider buying it over importing the Japanese version.
Btw, the English VAs changed for Wii, didn't they? I wonder how they're planning to record the PS2 additions of ToS. 2 VAs in 1 game? Random old shouts for attacks?
